The best of the Sheikh's youth; Ismail Al-Qan "Abu Jihad", a man unmatched in his morals, knowledge, chivalry and courage. God distinguished him to be a noble, committed man, aware of his religion and a smart teacher, worthy, deserving and successful. "Abu Jihad" was a skilled memorizer, who had memorized the Holy Quran by heart, reciting it every day at dawn, in a sweet, melodious voice and without a single noteworthy mistake. My father Ibrahim passed away, he sold his worldly life and bought the paradise of Allah. He used to urge young people to memorize the Holy Quran and learn the Seerah (biography). He was a constant companion of the people of knowledge and the people of Sharia. Sheikh "Ismail" was beloved among his family, his neighbors, his friends and his loved ones, and everyone bore witness to his good character and religion. His upbringing was like a walking Quran on earth. He spent his life in the path of Allah, he spent his money in the path of Allah, and he and his family spent it in the path of Allah. Sheikh "Ismail" is a patient, steadfast fighter. On this path, you got what you wished for, O Abu Ibrahim. Sheikh "Ismail" ascended at dawn today, to meet Allah as a beautiful, pure martyr, who did not know hatred. Neither arrogance nor haughtiness, and let it remain a witness to this criminal entity and the brutal war. May God be pleased with you and with the martyrs of Gaza and all of Palestine, and may God grant us good consolation for the truthful ones. O God, grant his family patience and solace.

خيرة شباب الشيخ ؛ اسماعيل القن "أبو جهاد" رجل لا يدانيه أحد في أخلاقه وعلمه وشهامته وشجاعتهِ، ميزهُ الله ليكون رجلاً نجيباً ملتزماً واعياً في أمور دينه ومعلماً ذكياً عن جدارة واستحقاق وتوفيق.
كان "أبو جهاد" حافظًا متقنًا، محفظ القرآن الكريم عن ظهر قلب، يتلوهُ فجر كل يوم، بصوتِ عذب وندي وبدون خطأ يُذكر.

كان يحث الشباب علي حًفُظُ آلَقُرآنِ آلَکْريَمً وٌتٌعٌلَمً آلَسِيَرهّ وٌکْآنِ مًلَآزٍمً لَآهّلَ آلَعٌلَمً وٌآهّلَ آلَشُريَعٌهّ
آلَشُيَخِ "آسِمًآعٌيَلَ" کْآنِ مًحًبًوٌبً بًيَنِ عٌآئلَتٌهّ وٌبًيَنِ جّيَرآنِهّ وٌبًيَنِ آصّدٍقُآئهّ وٌآحًبًآبًهّ ؤشُهّدٍ لَهّ آلَجّمًيَعٌ بًحًسِنِ خِلَقُهّ وٌدٍيَنِهّ وٌتٌربًيَتٌهّ کْآنِ قُرآنِ يَمًشُيَ عٌلَيَ آلَآرض
فُنِيآ حًيَآتٌهّ فُيَ سِبًيَلَ آلَلَهّ وٌفُنِآ مًآلَهّ فُيَ سِبًيَلَ آلَلَهّ وٌفُنِآ عٌآئلَتٌهّ فُيَ سِبًيَلَ آلَلَهّ
آلَشُيَخِ "آسِمًآعٌيَلَ" مًجّآهّدٍ صّآبًر مًحًتٌسِبً عٌلَيَ هّآذِآ آلَطِريَقُ نِلَتٌ مًآ تٌمًنِيَتٌ يَآ أبًآ آبًرآهّيَمً
‏الشيخ "اسماعيل" ارتقى فجر اليوم ، ليلقى الله شهيدًا جميلًا نقيًا، لا يعرف البغض ولا الكبر ولا التعالي، وليبقى شاهدًا على هذا الكيان المجرم وٌآلَحًربً آلَغُآشُمًةّ ، ‏رضي الله عنکْ وٌعٌنِ شهداء غزة وكل فلسطين، وأحسن الله عزاءنا في الصادقين، اللهم إلهم عائلته الصبر والسلوان.
