Yaffa News Network Local sources reported on Monday that fisherman Nour Rajab Rashad Al-Hissi was killed by Israeli gunfire in the Gaza Strip this morning. The attack also seriously injured fisherman Suhail Raed Saadallah, while a third fisherman is missing and search operations are still underway. Fishing is a primary source of livelihood for many families in the Gaza Strip. Before the war, Israel restricted the movement of fishing boats to a six-mile limit in the sea, monitored by ships and special naval forces who opened fire on anyone who crossed this limit. Since the start of the Israeli war of extermination, Israeli gunboats have prevented fishing boats from entering Gaza beyond a mile, according to the testimonies of dozens of Palestinian fishermen.

أفادت مصادر محلية، اليوم الاثنين، باستشهاد الصياد نور رجب رشاد الهسي برصاص زوارق الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في بحر مدينة غزة صباح اليوم.

وأدى الاعتداء إلى إصابة الصياد سهيل رائد سعدالله بجروح خطيرة، في حين فقد أثر صياد ثالث ولا تزال عمليات البحث جارية عنه.

تُعد مهنة الصيد مصدر رزق أساسي للعديد من العائلات في قطاع غزة، حيث كانت إسرائيل قبل الحرب تقيد حركة قوارب الصيد ضمن حدود ستة أميال في المياه البحرية، وتراقبها السفن والقوات البحرية الخاصة التي تطلق النار على من يعبر هذه الحدود.

ومنذ بدء حرب الإبادة الإسرائيلية، تمنع الزوارق الحربية دخول قوارب الصيد في غزة لأكثر من ميل واحد فقط، بحسب شهادات عشرات الصيادين الفلسطينيين.
