فرار در دقیقه ۹۰: رئیس شکنجه‌گاه اوین، پیش از حمله اسرائیل ناپدید شد

هدایت‌الله فرزادی، رئیس زندان اوین و یکی از مخوف‌ترین چهره‌های سرکوب در جمهوری اسلامی، تنها دقایقی پیش از حمله هوایی اسرائیل به‌طور محرمانه از محل گریخت، پس از آن‌که پسرش پیامی هشدارآمیز از سوی اسرائیل دریافت کرد:
«به پدرت بگو درهای اوین را باز کند، تا جانش محفوظ بماند.»

طبق گزارش اختصاصی فاکس‌نیوز و اسنادی که یک منبع اطلاعاتی اسرائیلی منتشر کرده، مأموران اسرائیلی با امیرحسین فرزادی تماس گرفتند و هشدار دادند که حمله‌ای در راه است. امیر پیام را به عمویش رساند و آن‌ها تنها دقایقی پیش از آغاز حمله، فرزادی را از زندان خارج کردند. از آن زمان، اثری از او نیست.

فرزادی که از سال ۲۰۲۲ مسئول اداره‌ی زندان اوین بوده، متهم به جنایات گسترده‌ای چون شکنجه، قتل، تجاوز جنسی و گرسنگی دادن به زندانیان سیاسی است. پیش از آن نیز در زندان‌های دیزل‌آباد و فشافویه به اجرای مجازات‌های غیرانسانی و سازماندهی شکنجه شهرت داشت.

او در فهرست تحریم‌های وزارت خزانه‌داری آمریکا و اتحادیه اروپا قرار دارد، نماد سیستمی که پایه‌هایش یکی‌یکی در حال فروپاشی‌اند.
