Twenty-one citizens, including children, were killed, half of them suffocating to death this Wednesday morning in front of the US aid distribution center north of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement received by "Sanad News Agency" that 21 Palestinians, including 15, died as a result of a stampede and suffocation near the US aid center on al-Tina Street south of Khan Yunis (north of Rafah), after US forces closed the center's main gate.
The ministry added that for the first time, deaths have been recorded as a result of suffocation and the intense stampede of citizens at aid distribution centers, stressing that the occupation and the US establishment are deliberately committing massacres in a systematic manner and using various methods against the starving.

استشهد 21 مواطنًا بينهم أطفال، ونصفهم قضوا اختناقًا صباح اليوم الأربعاء، أمام مركز توزيع المساعدات الأمريكية شمال رفح جنوبي قطاع غزة.
وقالت وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية، في بيانٍ لها تلقته "وكالة سند للأنباء" إنّ 21 فلسطينيًا، بينهم 15 استشهدوا نتيجة التدافع والاختناق بالقرب من مركز المساعدات الأميركية في شارع "الطينة" جنوب مدينة خانيونس (شمال رفح)، بعد إغلاق القوات الأميركية البوابة الرئيسية للمركز.
وأضافت الوزارة أنّه لأول مرة يتم تسجيل شهداء جراء الاختناق والتدافع الشديد للمواطنين في مراكز توزيع المساعدات، مؤكدةً أنّ الاحتلال والمؤسسة الامريكية يتعمدان ارتكاب المجازر بطريقة ممنهحة وبأساليب متنوعة بحق المجوعين.
