مجتمع اساتید سرو اولین منطقه مسکونی بود که بامداد جمعه ۲۳ خرداد مورد هدف حملات موشکباران قرار گرفت شهادت مظلومانه ۱۶ نفررا به دنبال داشت. علاوه بر رئیس دانشگاه آزاد و همسرش، محمد بیگلری، فریبا کیوانی، بهنام قاسمیان، زهره رسولی، رایان قاسمیان، احسان اشراقی، باران اشراقی، زهرا شمسبخش، علیاکبر امامی، هانیه نادری و ۴ نفر هم گمنام، از شهدای این موشکباران بودند.
