Government Media Office in Gaza
The number of martyred journalists has risen to 229 since the beginning of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, following the announcement of the martyrdom of one of our fellow journalists:
Martyr Ahmed Salama Abu Aisha
Working as a photojournalist and editor for the Palestine Today News Agency, Abu Aisha was killed as a result of a direct attack by Israeli drones in front of his home in the Al-Sawarah area, west of the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip.
We condemn in the strongest terms the systematic targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation. We call on the International Federation of Journalists, the Federation of Arab Journalists, and all journalistic bodies worldwide to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip.
We hold the Israeli occupation, the US administration, and the countries complicit in the crime of genocide, such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, fully responsible for committing these heinous, brutal crimes. We call on the international community, international organizations, and organizations involved in journalism and media work in all countries of the world to condemn the crimes of the occupation, deter it, prosecute it in international courts for its ongoing crimes, and bring the occupation's criminals to justice. We also call on them to exert serious and effective pressure to stop the crime of genocide, protect journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip, and halt their killing and assassination. We ask God Almighty to grant all our martyred colleagues and journalists mercy, acceptance, and Paradise, and to grant their families and the Palestinian press community patience and solace. We also wish a speedy recovery to all the wounded journalists.

ارتفع عدد الشهداء من الصحفيين إلى (229 شهيداً صحفياً) منذ بداية حرب الإبادة الجماعية على قطاع غزة، وذلك بعد الإعلان عن استشهاد أحد الزملاء الصحفيين:
الصحفي الشهيد/ أحمد سلامة أبو عيشة
الذي يعمل مُحرّراً مصوراً صحفياً في وكالة فلسطين اليوم الإخبارية وقد استشهد الصحفي الشهيد أبو عيشة جراء استهدافه بشكل مباشر من طائرات الاحتلال "الإسرائيلي" المُسيّرة، أمام منزله في منطقة السوارحة غرب مخيم النصيرات، وسط قطاع غزة.
ندين بأشد العبارات استهداف وقتل واغتيال الاحتلال الإسرائيلي للصحفيين الفلسطينيين بشكل ممنهج، وندعو الاتحاد الدولي للصحفيين، واتحاد الصحفيين العرب، وكل الأجسام الصحفية في كل دول العالم إلى إدانة هذه الجرائم الممنهجة ضد الصحفيين والإعلاميين الفلسطينيين في قطاع غزة.
نُحمّل الاحتلال الإسرائيلي والإدارة الأمريكية والدول المشاركة في جريمة الإبادة الجماعية مثل المملكة المتحدة، وألمانيا، وفرنسا؛ نحملهم المسؤولية الكاملة عن ارتكاب هذه الجرائم النَّكراء الوحشية.
نطالب المجتمع الدولي والمنظمات الدولية والمنظمات ذات العلاقة بالعمل الصحفي والإعلامي في كل دول العالم إلى إدانة جرائم الاحتلال وردعه وملاحقته في المحاكم الدولية على جرائمه المتواصلة وتقديم مجرمي الاحتلال للعدالة، كما ونطالبهم إلى ممارسة الضغط بشكل جدي وفاعل لوقف جريمة الإبادة الجماعية، ولحماية الصحفيين والإعلاميين في قطاع غزة، ووقف جريمة قتلهم واغتيالهم.
نسأل الله تعالى لجميع الزملاء الشهداء الصحفيين الرحمة والقبول والجنة، ولذويهم وللأسرة الصحفية الفلسطينية الصبر والسلوان، كما نتمنى الشفاء العاجل لجميع الصحفيين الجرحى.
