Today our blood is the ink, and our voice is the scream.

The Israeli occupation assassinated our colleague, our brother, our comrade Mohammad Shehadeh, "director of the Hawana Lubnan website."

They assassinated the honest word, the living conscience, and the voice that wouldn't be silenced despite everything.

Mohammad didn't die... Mohammad was targeted, martyred while fulfilling his mission.

He was martyred because he was speaking the truth, and shouting in the face of injustice!

They weren't bombing a media website...

They were bombing their own fear of the truth.

Because they know that Mohammad's voice is louder than their missiles,
and that the free word is a weapon that shakes them from within.

اليوم ما في عنا لا تقارير ولا عناوين ولا مقالات...
اليوم نحن اللي مكتوب عنا
اليوم دمنا هو الحبر، وصوتنا هو الصرخة.
الاحتلال الإسرائيلي اغتال زميلنا، خيّنا، رفيقنا محمد شحادة "مدير موقع هوانا لبنان".
اغتال الكلمة الصادقة، والضمير الحي، والصوت اللي ما سكت رغم كل شي.
محمد ما مات... محمد استُهدف ،استُشهد وهو عم يعمل رسالته.
استُشهد لأنه كان عم يحكي الحقيقة، وكان عم يصرخ بوجه الظلم!
ما كانوا عم يقصفوا موقع إعلامي...
كانوا عم يقصفوا خوفهم من الحقيقة.
لأنهم بيعرفوا إنو صوت محمد أقوى من صواريخهم
وإنو الكلمة الحرة سلاح بيهزّهم من جوا.
محمد شحادة ما رح نبكيك بس... رح نوعدك.
من اليوم، دمك برقبتنا.
من اليوم، قلمك سلاحنا.
من اليوم، صورتك بعيوننا، وصوتك بإيدنا.
ورح نمشي دربك، نحمل وجعك، ونكمل صرختك...
وإذا الكلمة بتكلفنا حياتنا... فلتكن.
العدو بدو يسكتنا؟ نحن رح نصرخ أكتر.
العدو بدو يقتل الحقيقة؟ نحن رح نكتبها بدمنا.
العدو بدو يطفي النور؟ نحن صرنا نار.
محمد...ما ودّعناك، لأنك ما غِبت.
إنت ساكن بينا، بكل كلمة حرة، بكل موقف شريف، بكل نفس فينا بعده عم يقول:
"مش رح ننسى... ومش رح نغفر... والثأر آتٍ يا محمد، آتٍ."
