Jawan Online: The family of Dr. Mansour Asgari, a nuclear scientist, was martyred following the Zionist regime's brutal attack on Block 12 of Shahid Chamran town.
According to Defense Press, martyred Masoumeh Yousefi, the wife of martyred Asgari, a retired professor at Payam Noor University, and her daughter Marzieh Abbasi, a specialist in neonatology and faculty at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, and martyred Zahra Barzegar, her three-year-old granddaughter, were also martyred with him.
Accordingly, we sat down with Fatemeh Asgari, the daughter of martyred Asgari, in which she discussed the details of this tragedy and the personal and professional dimensions of her father and other family members.
Referring to the events of the morning of the incident, Fatemeh Asgari stated: On Friday, June 13, the Zionist regime targeted Block 12 of Shahid Chamran town, where six floors of two towers completely collapsed and dozens of people, including my family, were martyred. I still cannot believe that they are no longer with us.
All of my father's activities were peaceful
He referred to his father's scientific background and said: After receiving his master's degree in nuclear physics from Shiraz University, my father became a member of the faculty of Imam Hussein University (AS). My father had close and important cooperation with the martyrs "Masoud Alimohammadi", "Fereidoon Abbasi" and "Mohsen Fakhrizadeh"; such that this cooperation led to the establishment of the "Sapand" organization. According to my father's colleagues, he chose this name for the organization. After the martyrdom of Mr. Alimohammadi, my father continued his scientific cooperation with the martyrs Fakhrizadeh and Abbasi; while all of their scientific activities were peaceful and legal.
He added about his father: My father was a humble, kind, family-friendly and pious person. Since his youth, when Imam Khomeini (RA) had advised the younger generation to fast on Mondays and Thursdays, my father always fasted on Mondays and Thursdays, and despite being very busy, he helped at home. My father attached great importance to the birthdays of family members and used to write poems for us.
Martyr Asgari's daughter said about her family's financial situation: My father only received a salary from Imam Hussein University (AS), and considering his second job at the Ministry of Defense, he said that he would not receive a salary from there, that this university salary was enough. Although it was offered to him, he did not accept it. Our house was in the same apartment where he was martyred. Our financial situation was moderate and living a simple life was my father's heartfelt belief.
In response to rumors about the seizure of her father's foreign assets, she clarified: My father did not have any assets abroad. The information raised is the result of a misinterpretation of the documents of the old US sanctions against my father. He did not even have significant assets inside the country.
My mother was a loyal wife
Fatemeh Asgari remembered her martyred mother with deep sorrow and said: My mother was everything in our house. With love and sacrifice, she was the pillar of the family for many years. From our childhood to taking care of our grandchildren, she always played a role with silence and kindness. She was a loyal wife who stood by my father until the last moment.
My sister was well-mannered and very compassionate
She also expressed about her sister, Dr. Marzieh Asgari: My sister was a specialist in neonatology and a member of the faculty of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. A calm, calm, well-mannered and very compassionate person. She was also very precise and reliable in her professional work, but of course her little daughter was also martyred in this attack. None of them are with me anymore.
Fatemeh Asgari said with a trembling voice and a lump in her throat about her last visit to her family: We agreed with my sister to be with our parents from Thursday to Sunday, which was Eid al-Ghadir. Therefore, my son and I were visiting my parents from 6:00 PM on Thursday, but we had to return home to do some work when I heard a terrible explosion on Friday morning.
At first I thought it was lightning, but minutes later I realized that my family's residence had been targeted and six entire floors of the building had been destroyed. I just prayed that they were safe, but they weren't. I couldn't even say goodbye to them properly. On Thursday, all four of them came to the front door and saw us off.
She added: "From under the rubble, only one bag remained; inside it were letters that my father had written to my mother years ago when they were engaged. These are the only things left from that house."
Fatemeh Asgari concluded: "The enemies are afraid of Iran's scientific progress. With this crime, they targeted not only my father, but also the symbol of Iran's wisdom and resilience, but the path of these martyrs continues and we are still standing."

به گزارش دفاع پرس، شهیده «معصومه یوسفی» همسر شهید عسگری بازنشسته دانشگاه پیام‌نور و دخترش شهیده «مرضیه عباسی» فوق تخصص نوزادان و هیئت علمی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران و شهیده «زهرا برزگر» نوه سه ساله‌اش نیز به همراه ایشان به شهادت رسیدند.
بر همین اساس، با «فاطمه عسگری» فرزند شهید عسگری، به گفت‌وگو نشستیم که او در این گفت‌وگو به جزئیات این فاجعه و ابعاد شخصیتی و حرفه‌ای پدر خود و سایر اعضای خانواده پرداخته است.
فاطمه عسگری با اشاره به وقایع صبح روز حادثه اظهار داشت: جمعه ۲۳ خرداد، رژیم صهیونی، بلوک ۱۲ شهرک شهید چمران را هدف قرار داد که شش طبقه از دو برج کاملا فروریخت و ده‌ها نفر از جمله خانواده‌ام به شهادت رسیدند که هنوز هم نمی‌توانم باور کنم آنها دیگر در میان ما نیستند.
تمام فعالیت‌های پدرم صلح‌آمیز بود
وی با اشاره به پیشینه علمی پدرش گفت: پدرم پس از دریافت کارشناسی ارشد فیزیک هسته‌ای از دانشگاه شیراز، به عضویت هیئت علمی دانشگاه امام حسین (ع) درآمد. پدرم با شهیدان «مسعود علی‌محمدی»، «فریدون عباسی» و «محسن فخری‌زاده» همکاری نزدیک و مهمی داشت؛ به‌طوری‌که این همکاری‌ها منجر به تاسیس سازمان «سپند» شد. طبق گفته همکاران پدرم، این نام را ایشان برای سازمان انتخاب کرد. پس از شهادت آقای علی‌محمدی، پدرم همکاری علمی خود را با شهید فخری‌زاده و شهید عباسی ادامه داد؛ در حالی‌که تمام فعالیت‌های علمی‌شان صلح‌آمیز و قانونی بود.
وی درباره پدرش افزود: پدرم انسانی متواضع، مهربان، خانواده‌ دوست و اهل عبادت بود. از جوانی‌اش که امام خمینی (ره) به نسل جوان توصیه کرده بودند دوشنبه‌ها و پنجشنبه‌ها را روزه بگیرند، پدرم همواره دوشنبه‌ها و پنج‌شنبه‌ها روزه می‌گرفت، با وجود مشغله فراوان در خانه کمک می‌کرد. پدرم به تولد اعضای خانواده اهمیت زیادی می‌داد و برای ما شعر می‌سرود.
دختر شهید عسگری درباره وضعیت مالی خانواده‌اش گفت: پدرم تنها از دانشگاه امام حسین (ع) حقوق می‌گرفت و با توجه به اشتغال دومش در وزارت دفاع، می‌گفت از آنجا دستمزد نمی‌گیرم، همین دستمزد دانشگاهی کافی است با این‌که به او پیشنهاد شده بود، آن را نپذیرفت. خانه‌مان در همان آپارتمانی بود که در آن شهید شد. وضعیت مالی‌مان متوسط و ساده‌زیستی، باور قلبی پدرم بود.
وی در پاسخ به شایعاتی درباره توقیف دارایی‌های خارجی پدرش، تصریح کرد: پدرم هیچ دارایی‌ای در خارج کشور نداشت. مطالب مطرح‌شده، حاصل برداشت نادرست از اسناد تحریم‌های قدیمی آمریکا علیه پدرم است. ایشان حتی در داخل کشور هم دارایی قابل توجهی نداشت.
مادرم همسری وفادار بود
فاطمه عسگری با اندوهی عمیق از مادر شهیدش یاد کرد و گفت: مادرم همه‌چیز خانه ما بود. با عشق و فداکاری، سال‌ها ستون خانواده بود. از دوران کودکی ما تا نگهداری از نوه‌ها، همواره با سکوت و مهربانی نقش‌آفرین بود. همسری وفادار بود که تا آخرین لحظه، دوشادوش پدرم ایستاد.
خواهرم خوش‌اخلاق و بسیار دلسوز بود
وی درباره خواهرش، دکتر مرضیه عسگری نیز ابراز داشت: خواهرم پزشک فوق‌تخصص نوزادان و عضو هیئت علمی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران بود. انسانی متین، آرام، خوش‌اخلاق و بسیار دلسوز. در کار حرفه‌ای خود نیز بسیار دقیق و قابل اعتماد بود که البته دختر کوچکش نیز در این حمله به شهادت رسید. دیگر هیچ‌کدامشان در کنارم نیستند.
فاطمه عسگری با صدایی لرزان و بغضی در گلو درباره آخرین دیدار با خانواده‌اش گفت: همراه با خواهرم هماهنگ شدیم که از پنجشنبه تا یکشنبه که عید غدیر بود، در کنار پدر و مادرمان باشیم. از این‌رو من و پسرم پنجشنبه از ساعت ۱۸ مهمان پدر و مادرم بودیم، اما برای انجام یک سری کارهایمان مجبور شدیم به خانه خودمان برگردیم که بامداد جمعه صدای مهیب انفجاری را شنیدم.
ابتدا تصور کردم رعد و برق است، اما دقایقی بعد متوجه شدم محل سکونت خانواده‌ام هدف حمله قرار گرفته و شش طبقه کامل از ساختمان تخریب شده است، فقط دعا می‌کردم آنها سالم باشند، اما نبودند. حتی نتوانستم با آنها درست خداحافظی کنم. پنجشنبه هر چهار نفرشان تا جلوی در آمدند و بدرقه‌مان کردند.
وی افزود: از زیر آوار، تنها یک کیف باقی ماند؛ درونش نامه‌هایی بود که پدرم سال‌ها پیش در دوران نامزدی برای مادرم نوشته بود. اینها تنها چیزهایی است که از آن خانه مانده است.
فاطمه عسگری در پایان گفت: دشمنان از پیشرفت علمی ایران هراس دارند. آنها با این جنایت نه‌تنها پدر من، بلکه نماد دانایی و ایستادگی ایران را هدف گرفتند اما راه این شهیدان ادامه دارد و ما همچنان ایستاده‌ایم.
