The will of martyred journalist Hussam Shabat:
- I dedicated every moment of my life to my people, documenting the horrors in northern Gaza minute by minute, determined to show the world the truth they tried to bury.
- I slept on sidewalks, in schools, and in tents. Every day was a battle for survival. I endured months of hunger, yet I never left my people.
- I fulfilled my duty as a journalist, risking everything to convey the truth. Now, finally, I rest.
- I did all this out of belief in the Palestinian cause, that this land is ours, and the greatest honor of my life was to die defending it and serving its people.
- Don't stop talking about Gaza. Don't let the world turn its gaze away from it. Continue the struggle and continue telling our stories until Palestine is liberated.

- كرّست كل لحظة من حياتي لشعبي، ووثّقت الأهوال في شمال غزة دقيقة بدقيقة، مصممًا على أن أُظهر للعالم الحقيقة التي حاولوا دفنها.
- نمت على الأرصفة، وفي المدارس والخيام، وكان كل يوم معركة من أجل البقاء، وتحملت الجوع لشهور، ومع ذلك لم أفارق شعبي أبدًا.
- أدّيت واجبي كصحفي، خاطرت بكل شيء لأنقل الحقيقة، والآن، أخيرًا استرحت.
فعلت كل هذا إيمانًا بالقضية الفلسطينية، وأن هذه الأرض لنا، وكان أسمى شرف في حياتي أن أموت دفاعًا عنها وبخدمة أهلها.
- لا تتوقفوا عن الحديث عن غزة، لا تدعوا العالم يُشيح بنظره عنها.. استمروا في النضال، واستمروا في رواية قصصنا حتى تتحرر فلسطين
