According to Mehr News Agency, citing the official website of the Judo Federation, in the brutal attack by the occupying Quds regime on the residential areas of Astana Ashrafiyeh, Dr. Seyyed Mohammad Reza Seddighi Saber, one of the pioneers of judo and prominent nuclear scientists of Iran, was martyred along with 11 members of his family.
Following this heartbreaking incident, the Judo Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran issued a message, expressing condolences to the martyrdom of this outstanding son of Islamic Iran and the great judo community. The text of this message is as follows:
With a heart full of sorrow and emotion, I offer my condolences and condolences to the Supreme Leader (peace be upon him), the Supreme Leader (may Allah protect him), the distinguished and honorable family of the martyr, the scientific community of the country, and the great judo family.
The late Dr. Seddiqi Saber not only achieved remarkable progress in the field of science and knowledge, but also shone with pride in the judo arena and set an example of a faithful, committed, and revolutionary athlete. The martyrdom of this devoted scientist and judoka once again revealed the true face of the enemies of Islam and humanity and strengthened the determination of the proud Iranian nation to continue the path of progress and resistance.
We ask God Almighty to grant the noble soul of this dear martyr the highest ranks and companionship with the saints of God, and to grant the survivors patience and a great reward. Undoubtedly, the bright path of the high-ranking martyrs will forever be the beacon of light for the free people of the world.

به گزارش خبرگزاری مهر به نقل از سایت رسمی فدراسیون جودو، در حمله وحشیانه رژیم اشغالگر قدس به مناطق مسکونی آستانه اشرفیه، دکتر سید محمدرضا صدیقی صابر، از پیشکسوتان جودو و دانشمندان برجسته هسته‌ای ایران، به همراه ۱۱ تن از اعضای خانواده‌اش به درجه رفیع شهادت نائل آمد.
در پی این واقعه دلخراش، فدراسیون جودو جمهوری اسلامی ایران با صدور پیامی، شهادت این فرزند برومند ایران اسلامی و جامعه بزرگ جودو را تسلیت گفت که متن این پیام به شرح ذیل می باشد:
با قلبی مالامال از اندوه و تأثر، شهادت این فرزند برومند ایران اسلامی و جامعه بزرگ جودو را به محضر حضرت ولی‌عصر (عج)، مقام معظم رهبری (مدظله‌العالی)، خانواده معظم و معزز شهید، جامعه علمی کشور و همچنین خانواده بزرگ جودو تسلیت و تعزیت عرض می‌نماید.
مرحوم دکتر صدیقی صابر، نه‌تنها در سنگر علم و دانش به پیشرفت‌های چشمگیری دست یافته بود، بلکه با افتخار در میادین جودو نیز خوش درخشید و الگویی از ورزشکاری مؤمن، متعهد و انقلابی را به نمایش گذاشت. شهادت این دانشمند و جودوکار فداکار، بار دیگر چهره واقعی دشمنان اسلام و انسانیت را نمایان ساخت و عزم ملت سرافراز ایران را برای ادامه راه پیشرفت و مقاومت مستحکم‌تر ساخت.
از درگاه خداوند متعال برای روح پرفتوح این شهید عزیز علو درجات و همنشینی با اولیاءالله و برای بازماندگان صبر جمیل و اجر جزیل مسئلت داریم. بی‌شک، راه پرفروغ شهیدان والامقام، تا ابد چراغ راه آزادگان جهان خواهد بود.
