We mourn the martyred hero, son of the patient and steadfast hero, Sameer Mohammed Abu Fanouneh, this persevering, steadfast and courageous young man despite his young age and the prime of his life. This is how martyrs are. God chooses them to treat them well, just as they treated them well in this world. Heaven is the meeting place, to the bliss and pleasure of God. I ask God Almighty to strengthen the hearts of his parents with patience and solace, to compensate them with good in this world and the hereafter, and to be an intercessor for them on the Day of Resurrection.

نزف إلى فلسطين الشهيد البطل إبن البطل المحتسب الصابر/ سمير محمد أبو فنونة، هذا الشاب المثابر المرابط المقدام رغم حداثه سنه وربيع عمره، هكذا هم الشهداء يصطفيهم الله ليحسن ضيافتهم مثلما أحسنوا في الدنيا، الجنة الملتقى، إلى نعيم الله ورضوانه، واسأل الله تعالى بأن يربط على قلب والدّيه بالصبر والسلوان وأن يعوضهم خيراً في الدنيا والأخرة وأن يكون شفيعاً لهم يوم القيامة.
