*The General Secretariat of the Union of Democratic Youth mourns the martyr, comrade Mahmoud Al-Shaer, who was martyred in the Al-Mawasi massacre in Khan Yunis.*
The Palestinian Democratic Youth Union, along with the masses of our people and the free people of the world, mourns the martyr, comrade Mahmoud Fawzi Al-Shaer (18 years old), who was martyred in the horrific Al-Mawasi massacre in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, at dawn today. This massacre claimed the lives of more than 100 martyrs, wounded, and a number of missing persons.
The martyred comrade Mahmoud Al-Shaer, from Rafah Governorate, was martyred in the tents of the displaced in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, in an area that the fascist occupation government claims is a "safe humanitarian zone."
We commend the virtues of the martyr Mahmoud Al-Shaer, who was martyred alongside dozens of our Palestinian people. Al-Shaer persevered in his tireless work within the ranks of the Union and in student activities in the schools of Rafah Governorate, and was a courageous man in serving his people. As we bid farewell to a new martyr who joins the ranks of his fellow martyrs, the General Secretariat of the Palestinian Democratic Youth Union (PDUY) affirms its commitment to continuing the path of struggle and resistance in all its forms until we achieve our goals of return, freedom, and independence.

*السكرتاريا العامة لأشد تنعى الشهيد الرفيق محمود الشاعر الذي استشهد في مجزرة المواصي بخانيونس*
ينعى اتحاد الشباب الديمقراطي الفلسطيني جماهير شعبنا واحرار العالم، الشهيد الرفيق محمود فوزي الشاعر (18 عاماً) الذي استشهد في مجزرة المواصي المروعة بخانيونس جنوب قطاع غزة، فجر اليوم، والتي راح ضحيتها أكثر من 100 شهيد وجريح وعدد من المفقودين.
لقد كان الرفيق الشهيد محمود الشاعر وهو من محافظة رفح استشهد في خيام النازحين في منطقة المواصي بخانيونس، في منطقة تدعي حكومة الاحتلال الفاشية أنها «منطقة إنسانية آمنة».
ونشيد بمناقب الشهيد محمود الشاعر الذي استشهد برفقة العشرات من أبناء شعبنا الفلسطيني؛حيث كان الشهيد الشاعر مثابراً على العمل الدؤوب في صفوف الاتحاد والأنشطة الطلابية في مدارس محافظة رفح ومقداماً في خدمة أبناء شعبه.
كما نؤكد في السكرتاريا العامة لأشد ونحن نودع شهيداً جديداً يلتحق بكوكبة رفاقه الشهداء على مواصلة درب النضال والمقاومة بكافة اشكالها حتى تحقيق اهدافنا في العودة والحرية والاستقلال.
