Israeli Airstrikes Target Displaced Persons' Tents in Rafah
Hamas has demanded the opening of the Rafah crossing to help treat the wounded who were injured by Israeli airstrikes targeting displaced persons' tents near the warehouses of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) northwest of Rafah.

The Hamas media office said in a statement: "We demand the opening of the Rafah crossing to help treat the wounded due to the collapse of the health system in Gaza."

The statement added that "a concentrated and deliberate bombardment targeted a UNRWA displacement center with more than seven missiles and giant bombs weighing more than 2,000 pounds each, resulting in dozens of deaths and many serious injuries."

Local Palestinian sources reported that at least 40 people were killed and others injured as a result of Israeli airstrikes targeting displaced people's tents near UNRWA warehouses northwest of Rafah.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews transported a large number of dead and wounded after the Israeli army targeted the displaced people's tents in Rafah.

The Civil Defense in Gaza confirmed the arrival of 50 dead and wounded as a result of the Israeli bombing of the displaced people's camp northwest of Rafah.

Civil Defense stated that ambulance crews were unable to transport a number of charred bodies following the Israeli bombing, noting that the targeted area houses 100,000 displaced persons.

استهداف غارات إسرائيلية خيام النازحين برفح
طالبت حركة "حماس" بفتح معبر رفح وذلك للمساعدة في علاج الجرحى الذين أصيبوا جراء استهداف غارات إسرائيلية خيام النازحين قرب مخازن وكالة غوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين (الأونروا) شمالي غرب رفح.


وقال المكتب الإعلامي لحماس في بيان: "نطالب بفتح معبر رفح للمساعدة في علاج الجرحى نظرا لانهيار المنظومة الصحية بغزة".


وأضاف البيان أن "قصفا مركزا ومقصودا طال مركز نزوح لوكالة (الأونروا) بأكثر من 7 صواريخ وقنابل عملاقة تزن الواحدة أكثر من 2000 رطل، الأمر الذي أدى لمقتل العشرات والعديد من الإصابات الخطيرة".

وكانت مصادر فلسطينية محلية قد أفادت بمقتل ما لا يقل عن 40 شخصا، وإصابة آخرين، جراء استهداف غارات إسرائيلية خيام النازحين قرب مخازن وكالة (الأونروا) شمالي غرب رفح.

وذكرت جمعية الهلال الأحمر الفلسطيني أن طواقمها نقلت عددا كبيرا من القتلى والإصابات عقب استهداف الجيش الإسرائيلي لخيام النازحين برفح.

وأكد الدفاع المدني في غزة وصول 50 شخصا بين قتيل وجريح جراء قصف الإسرائيلي لمخيم النازحين شمال غرب رفح.

وأوضح الدفاع المدني أن طواقم الإسعاف لم تتمكن من نقل عدد من الجثث المتفحمة إثر القصف الإسرائيلي، مشيرا إلى أن المنطقة المستهدفة تضم 100 ألف نازح.
