Our friend, brother, and beloved Samir Bajaala has passed away. He was a simple, cheerful man who opened his heart, before his home, to every stranger, afflicted, or needy person. He served as Hadhramaut's representative in Sana'a. After assuming the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Sana'a, he devoted himself to serving his people, facilitating their affairs, and overcoming the difficulties they faced.
I knew him as a compassionate, generous man, a friend, a father, and a brother, easygoing and gentle. He was not changed by positions or dazzled by the spotlight or ranks.
May God have mercy on you and accept you as a martyr. It is enough for you that your killers are the ones who kill the children of Gaza and are enemies of humanity, life, peace, and love.
Hold back your tears.
Death has folded its veil.
The martyr has raced to the ground.
Spreading his wings, unafraid of battle.
He will record the history of dignity and pride.

رحل الصديق والاخ والحبيب سمير باجعالة إنسانا بسيطا بشوشا ، فاتحا قلبه قبل بيته لكل غريب أو مكلوب أو طالب غوث وحاجة ، منذ أن كان ممثلا لحضرموت في صنعاء ، وسخر نفسه بعد تولي وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل بصنعاء لخدمة أبناء جلدته وتسهيل أمورهم وتذليل المصاعب التي تواجههم.
عرفته إنسانا عطوفا كريما وصديقا وأبا وأخا سهل الطباع دمث الأخلاق، لا تغيره المناصب ولا تبهره الأضواء والرتب .
رحمك الله وتقبلك شهيدا ، فحسبك بأن قاتليك من يقتل أطفال غزة ويعادي الإنسانية والحياة والسلام والحب.
كفكف دموعك
فقد طوى الموت وشاحه
ومضى الشهيد يسابق الثرى
فاردا جناحيه لا يهاب الوغى
ويسجل تاريخ الكرامة والأبى
سينتصر الدم على الطغاة
وينير دروب أمة
تشتاق للنصر والفداء.
