It is said that during one of his meetings with Sayyid, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mr. Samir Bajaala, said to Sayyid, "I am the Minister of the Oppressed."
At that point, Sayyid smiled at him with a loving smile and said, "May God grant you success and help you."
This humility was only fitting for this good man, who ended his life with martyrdom in the cause of God.
