With hearts that believe in God’s will and destiny, and filled with pride and honor,
the Al-Shara’i district announces to our nation the martyrdom of its hero, journalist Lieutenant Colonel Ali Naji Saeed Hassan Al-Rumani Al-Shara’i,
whose pure soul ascended as a result of the treacherous bombing launched by the Zionist aggression on the September 26 Press building in the capital, Sana’a. His pure body was recovered from the rubble this evening, three days after the bombing.
The passing of the martyred Lieutenant Colonel Ali Al-Shara'i represents a great loss, but at the same time, it is a badge of honor and pride, proving that the battle of words is no less sacred than the battle of weapons, and that the blood of martyrs will remain a beacon illuminating the paths of the free.
We ask God Almighty to accept him among the martyrs and righteous, to grant him a place in His spacious gardens, and to inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace.
There is no consolation for the slackers and the submissive.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
﴿وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ الله أَمْوَاتًا بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ﴾
بقلوب مؤمنة بقضاء الله وقدره، ومفعمة بالفخر والاعتزاز،
تزفُّ عزلة الشراعي إلى أمتنا شهيدها البطل، الصحفي المقدّم علي ناجي سعيد حسن الرماني الشراعي،
الذي ارتقت روحه الطاهرة نتيجة القصف الغادر الذي شنّه العدوان الصهيوني على مبنى صحافة 26 سبتمبر في العاصمة صنعاء، حيث تم انتشال جثمانه الطاهر من بين الركام مساء اليوم بعد ثلاثة أيام من القصف.
إن رحيل الشهيد المقدّم علي الشراعي يمثّل خسارة جسيمة، لكنه في الوقت ذاته وسام شرف وفخر، إذ يثبت أن معركة الكلمة لا تقل قداسة عن معركة السلاح، وأن دماء الشهداء ستظل نبراساً ينير دروب الأحرار.
نسأل الله العلي القدير أن يتقبله في الشهداء والصديقين، وأن يسكنه فسيح جناته، وأن يلهم أهله وذويه الصبر والسلوان.
ولا عزاء للمتخاذلين والخانعين.
