Where are you, my brother? I'm waiting for you as usual at the home of your cousin, Hajj Nour Atwi, as we do every day, at this precise time, to sit together and chat, filling the place with your resonant voice.

Yesterday, I met you at the Al-Deir neighborhood intersection and asked you where you were going. You told me, "I'm going up to the forest, Ali Al-Tahir, to divert the water." That cursed, treacherous creature was hovering in the sky. I quickly said, "I see you, Abu Tariq, my end is above me, and you're not leaving the forest." I didn't realize at the time that the Angel of Death was about to finish off your pure soul,
this pure and giving soul that glorified God and adored the Master of Martyrs, Abu Abdullah Al-Hussein, peace be upon him.
My brother, Abu Qais...
I will miss you, a noble, dear brother, an honorable fighter. The world will not defile you.

أبو قيس !!
أين أنت يا أخي أنتظرك كالمعتاد في منزل إبن عمك الحاج نور عطوي كما في كل يوم و في هذا الوقت بالتحديد لنجلس سوياً و نتبادل الحديث لتملأ المكان بصوتك الجهوري
أبو قيس ..
البارحة التقيتك على مفترق حي الدير و سألتك عن وجهتك فأجبتني طالع على الحرج" علي الطاهر " لاقوم بتحويل المياه و كانت تلك اللعينة و الغدارة تحوم في السماء سارعت بالقول "شايفلك يا ابو طارق نهايتي فوق و مش عم تفارق الحرج " لم ادرك وقتها بأن ملك الموت كان على وشك أن يجهز على روحك الطاهرة ،
هذه الروح النقية و المعطاءة التي كانت مسبحة لله و عاشقة لسيد الشهداء أبا عبد الله الحسين عليه السلام
أخي ابو قيس ..
سأفتقدك أخاً كريماً عزيزاً مناضلاً شريفاً لن تلوثك الدنيا.
