To you who sit in the palaces of power—the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister...and every official who seeks silence or hides behind gray positions:
On May 24, Election Day, you succeeded in imposing a ceasefire.
A full day without shells, without blood.
Who is preventing you from imposing a new ceasefire today?
Aren't the lives of the people of the South worth anything in your political calculations?
Or does the South only enter your calculations on Election Day?
Gentlemen, the enemy does not differentiate between a child and an elderly person, a worker and a teacher, a civilian and a fighter.
The enemy kills.
And you remain silent.
So who is the enemy's partner? Who covers up the crime?
Who normalizes silence?
Who equates the killer with the victim?
We, the people of the South, are not marginal, nor are we a number to be summarized in a statement.
We are Lebanese, whether you like it or not.
We have the right to life, to protection, to a voice.
And anyone who remains silent, compromises, or pleads impotence is a partner in the crime.
Enough with death.
Enough with submission.

يا من تجلسون في قصور الحكم، رئيس الجمهورية، رئيس الحكومة ...وكل مسؤول يلوذ بالصمت أو يختبئ خلف المواقف الرمادية:
في 24 أيار، يوم الانتخابات، نجحتم في فرض وقف لإطلاق النار.
يومٌ كامل بلا قذائف، بلا دماء.
فمن يمنعكم من فرض وقف جديد اليوم؟
أليست أرواح أبناء الجنوب تساوي شيئًا في ميزانكم السياسي؟
أم أن الجنوب لا يدخل في حساباتكم إلا يوم الانتخابات؟
أيها السادة، العدو لا يميّز بين طفل ومسن، بين عامل ومعلم، بين مدني ومقاتل.
العدو يقتل.
وأنتم تصمتون.
فمن شريك العدو؟
من يغطي الجريمة؟
من يطبع بالصمت؟
من يساوي بين القاتل والقتيل؟
نحن أهل الجنوب، لسنا هامشًا، ولسنا رقمًا يُختصر في بيان.
نحن لبنانيون، شئتم أم أبيتم.
لنا الحق بالحياة، بالحماية، بالصوت.
وكل من يصمت، يساوم، أو يتذرّع بالعجز، هو شريك في الجريمة.
كفى موتًا.
كفى خنوعًا.
