With hearts that believe in God's will and destiny,
Today we bid farewell to our fasting, devout uncle, a man of good character and conduct,
The martyr: Sami Abu Hamida (Abu Muhammad)
My father's companion and loyal childhood friend.
We ask God to accept him among the martyrs and to grant him a place in His spacious gardens.
And may God grant my father and his family patience in this separation.
To God we belong and to Him we shall return.

بقلوب مؤمنة بقضاء الله وقدره
نودّع اليوم العم الصوّام القوّام، صاحب الخُلق والسيرة الطيبة،
الشهيد : سامي أبو حامدة (أبو محمد)
رفيق درب والدي، وصديق طفولته الوفي
نسأل الله أن يتقبله من الشهداء ويسكنه فسيح جناته
ويصبر والدي وأهله على هذا الفُراق
إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
