delivering drops to its people, and washing away their worries with your good intentions and honesty.

You didn't just raise the maps of work,

but you elevated your standing among the people with your loyalty.

You didn't just hold the pipes,

but you held our hearts with your patience.

You were martyred while working in the fields of honor,

with no weapon in your hand,

and no banner you raised except the banner of sincerity and loyalty.

Oh you who left your mark in every drop of water,
sleep, you are an unfinished story, no novel that doesn't speak your name and your good deeds.

Sleep soundly, for the homeland is proud of you.

- _You were the voice of truth and the silence of heroism._
- _Peace be upon your pure soul._

يا من كنتَ تسيرُ بخطى العطاء
في دروبِ خانيونس،
توصلُ القطراتِ لأهلها، وتغسلُ الهمَّ عنهم بطيبِ نيتك وصدقِ يدك

ما رفعتَ خرائطَ العملِ فقط

بل رفعتَ قدرَك بين الناسِ بالوفاء
،
وما أمسكتَ الأنابيبَ فحسب
،
بل أمسكتَ قلوبنا بصبرك
.
استشهدتَ وأنت في ميادينِ الشرفِ تعمل

لا سلاحَ في يدك
،
ولا رايةَ ترفعها إلا راية الإخلاص والوفاء
.
يا من تركتَ في كلِّ نقطةِ ماءٍ أثرك،
نم ياحكايه لم تنتهي ولا روايه لا تنطق باسمك وعملك الصالح

نمْ قريرَ العين فالوطن يفتخر بك
