"And never think that those who have been killed in the cause of Allah are dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, and they are provided for."
How painful and harsh those moments are... standing to pray for your beloved, looking at his face for the last time, trying to steady yourself and hold back your tears, but your heart breaks and your soul collapses.
I couldn't control myself, and my heart broke as I raised my hands in the funeral takbirs, bidding farewell to my soul before bidding farewell to him...

My beloved, the heartbeat of my heart, and a piece of my soul.
He departed, leaving behind a young child and a little girl who had not yet completed her first days of life.
But we consider him worthy of God's protection, and we believe he is in a higher position.
O God, accept him among the martyrs, and admit him into Paradise in peace with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. What excellent companions they are! And send down tranquility upon my heart and the hearts of his mother and loved ones. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.

"وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا، بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ"
كم هي مؤلمة وقاسية تلك اللحظات... أن تقف لتصلي على فلذة كبدك، تنظر إلى وجهه لآخر مرة، تحاول أن تثبّت نفسك وتكتم دموعك، لكن القلب ينكسر، والنفس تنهار.
لم أتمالك نفسي، وانفطر قلبي وأنا أرفع يدي بتكبيرات الجنازة، أودّع روحي قبل أن أودّعه...

فلذة كبدي، ونبض قلبي، وقطعة من روحي.
رحل وترك خلفه طفلًا صغيرًا، وطفلةً لم تُكمل أيامها الأولى في الحياة.
لكننا نحتسبه عند الله، ونؤمن أنه في مقامٍ أعظم.
اللهم تقبّله في عداد الشهداء،
وأدخله الجنه بسلام مع النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسن أولئك رفيقًا.
وأنزل السكينة على قلبي وقلب والدته واحبابه .
إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.
