Deir ez-Zor Governorate: After midnight last night, the International Coalition forces conducted an airdrop operation in the Khababsa neighborhood of Al-Shuhail town, east of Deir ez-Zor Governorate. This coincided with intermittent gunfire heard in several locations within the town.

According to security sources, the operation was preceded by a state of high alert and the entry of a large convoy of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into the town, amidst intensive helicopter activity by the International Coalition in the area.

The identity of the individual or entity targeted in the operation remains unclear, as does the number of arrests or casualties.

محافظة ديرالزور: نفّذت قوات “التحالف الدولي”، بعد منتصف الليلة الفائتة، عملية إنزال جوي في حي الخبابصة ببلدة الشحيل شرقي محافظة دير الزور تزامنًا مع أصوات إطلاق نار متقطعة سُمعت في عدد من مواقع البلدة.

ووفقاً لمصادرأمنية، فإن العملية سبقتها حالة استنفار أمني ودخول رتل كبير من قوات سوريا الديمقراطية “قسد” إلى البلدة، وسط تحليق مكثّف للطيران المروحي التابع “للتحالف الدولي” في أجواء المنطقة.

ولم تتّضح حتى الآن هوية الشخص أو الجهة المستهدفة بالعملية، كما لم تُعرف بعد حصيلة الاعتقالات أو الخسائر البشرية الناتجة عنها.
