The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) carried out a special operation in the Hasakah countryside with support from the international coalition.

The SDF special forces conducted a security operation in the Baku area of the Hasakah countryside. Clashes erupted between the security forces and members of an ISIS cell after the cell members refused to surrender. The entire four-member cell was killed, including a prominent ISIS leader.

Information indicates that the cell members were previously operating in the occupied town of Ras al-Ayn (Sere Kaniye) within the so-called "Peace Spring" area, and were planning a series of attacks in Hasakah, most notably targeting the Industrial Prison, which holds a large number of detained ISIS members.

وتشير المعلومات إلى أن عنـ.ـاصر الخلـ.ـية كانوا يتنقلون سابقاً في بلدة سري كانيه رأس العين المحـ.ـتلة ضمن مناطق ما تسمى "نبع السلام"، ويخططون لتنفيذ سلسلة هجـ.ـمـ.ـات في الحسكة، أبرزها استهـ.ـداف سجـ.ـن الصناعة الذي يضم عدداً كبيراً من عناصر التنظـ.ـيم المحتـ.ـجزين.
