What happened in #Karhouk?
The terrorist SDF militias stormed the village of Karhouk in the countryside of al-Ya'rubiyah district with the aim of arresting two young men, Alaa and Ali al-Halil. However, the operation turned into a fierce armed clash after fierce resistance from the villagers, led by Mahmoud al-Halil al-Shammari, who later succumbed to his wounds after inflicting casualties on the attackers (reports also indicate fatalities).

The SDF did not stop at the raid; they also fired indiscriminately within the village, resulting in injuries among civilians, including a child. Citizen Mahmoud al-Shaher was also killed by a drone strike that targeted the village after the clash.

The Sanadid militia intervened to contain the situation, and an agreement was reached stipulating the complete evacuation of the al-Halil family from Karhouk to the Tal Alu area, the Sanadid headquarters, to prevent renewed clashes. Several Sanadid leaders entered the village to assess the situation on the ground. The SDF imposed a tight siege on Karahuk from all directions, deploying armed checkpoints, then withdrew towards the international highway, while reinforcing the Al-Tahounah checkpoint and erecting earthen berms around Hasakah.

Dozens of residents gathered outside Karahuk awaiting developments, amidst escalating public anger and demands to break the siege and hold the aggressors accountable. The situation remains tense, with a cautious calm prevailing around the village.

ما الذي حدث في #كرهوك
اقتحمت ميليشيات قسد الإرهابية قرية كرهوك في ريف ناحية اليعربية بهدف اعتقال الشابين علاء وعلي الهليل، لكن العملية تحولت إلى اشتباك مسلح عنيف بعد مقاومة شرسة من أهل المنزل، وعلى رأسهم محمود الهليل الشمري، الذي ارتقى لاحقًا متأثرًا بجراحه بعد أن أوقع إصابات في صفوف المهاجمين (أنباء عن سقوط قتلى أيضًا).
قسد لم تكتف بالاقتحام، بل أطلقت النار بشكل عشوائي داخل القرية، وسجلت إصابات بين المدنيين، بينهم طفل، كما ارتقى المواطن محمود الشاهر نتيجة قصف بطائرة مسيّرة استهدفت القرية بعد الاشتباك.
ميليشيا الصناديد تدخلت لاحتواء الموقف، وتم التوصل إلى اتفاق يقضي بخروج عائلة الهليل بالكامل من كرهوك باتجاه منطقة تل علو، مقر الصناديد، لتجنب تجدد الاشتباكات. دخل عدد من قيادات الصناديد إلى القرية لمعاينة الوضع ميدانيًا.
قسد فرضت حصارًا خانقًا على كرهوك من جميع الاتجاهات، ونشرت حواجز مسلحة، ثم انسحبت باتجاه الطريق الدولي، مع تعزيزات عند حاجز الطاحونة ورفع سواتر ترابية في محيط الحسكة.
تجمّع عشرات الأهالي خارج كرهوك بانتظار ما ستؤول إليه التطورات، وسط حالة غضب شعبي متصاعدة، ومطالبات بكسر الحصار ومحاسبة المعتدين. الوضع لا يزال متوترًا، والهدوء الحذر يخيّم على محيط القرية.
