The International Coalition offers condolences to the Al-Shammari family and apologizes for a mistaken airstrike in the village of Karhouk.

A delegation from the International Coalition offered condolences to the family of martyr Mahmoud Al-Halil Al-Shammari in the village of Karhouk in the Hasakah countryside, expressing regret for Al-Halil's death as a result of an airstrike carried out based on a false report from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) regarding the presence of ISIS elements in the area.

The Coalition delegation assured the martyr's sons, Ali and Alaa Al-Shammari, that investigations revealed the report was misleading and that its aircraft had been caught in a trap due to false information. The delegation also pledged to take action against those responsible for this crime.

قدّم وفد من التحالف الدولي واجب العزاء لعائلة الشهيد "محمود الهليل الشمري"في قرية كرهّوك بريف الحسكة، معربًا عن أسفه لمقتل الهليل نتيجة غارة جوية نُفّذت استنادًا إلى بلاغ خاطئ من "قسد" حول وجود عناصر من تنظيم داعش في المنطقة.
وأكد وفد التحالف لنجلي الشهيد، علي وعلاء الشمري، أن التحقيقات أظهرت أن البلاغ كان مضللاًوأن طيرانه وقع في مصيدة نتيجة معلومات كاذبة،كما تعهّد باتخاذ إجراءات بحق المتسببين في هذه الجريمة.
