Clarification:
Only the late Mahmoud Halil Al-Shaher Al-Shammari was martyred in the battle. His two sons, Ali and Alaa, who withstood the SDF forces for five continuous hours, managed to destroy several military vehicles and inflict casualties on their ranks, estimated at between five and seven fighters.

They emerged victorious, imposing their conditions and refusing to surrender. Meanwhile, the SDF withdrew from the battlefield in humiliation and defeat, dragging the tails of their loss and licking their wounds, despite relying on what remained of Assad's shattered air force.

لم يُستشهد في المعركة سوى المرحوم (محمود هليّل الشاهر الشمّري) ، أمّا ولداه "علي وعلاء" ، اللذان صمدا في وجه قوات قسد لمدة خمس ساعات متواصلة، فقد تمكّنا من تدمير عدّة آليات عسكرية، وأوقعا قتلى وجرحى في صفوفهم يُقدّر عددهم بين خمسة إلى سبعة عناصر.
لقد خرجا منتصرَين، وفرضَا شروطهما، ولم يُسلّما نفسيهما، فيما انسحبت قسد من ساحة المعركة مذلولةً مكسورة، تجرّ أذيال الهزيمة وتلعق جراحها، رغم استعانتها بما تبقّى من طيران الأسد المنهار.
