"And never think that those who have been killed in the cause of Allah are dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision." With the highest expressions of honor and pride, the Karim family mourns the righteous martyrs:
Our cousin, the martyred Haj Maher Sadiq Karim (Abu Saeb), Deputy Head of the Family; and our maternal cousin, the martyred Haj Muhammad Saeed Karim (Abu Saeed), a member of the Family Council.

They ascended to their Lord's side following a brutal Israeli bombing of Al-Hassan Mosque in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood while performing the Fajr prayer.

May God accept them as martyrs in the highest levels of Paradise.

By God, our hearts grieve, our eyes shed tears, and we are truly saddened by their departure.

Companions in this world... and companions in Paradise, God willing.

The caravans of martyrs do not pass in vain... it is tyranny that passes. Sufficient for us is God, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. Indeed, we belong to God, and indeed, to Him we will return.

والذين ارتقوا إلى جوار ربهم إثر قصف إسرائيلي غاشم على مسجد الحسن في حي التفاح، وهم يؤدون صلاة الفجر.
تقبلهم الله شهداء في أعلى درجات الجنة،
فوالله إن القلب ليحزن وإن العين لتدمع وإنا على فراقهم لمحزونون لمحزونون.
صحبة في الدنيا .. و صحبة في الجنة إن شاء الله
و قوافل الشهداء لا تمضي سدى .. إن الذي يمضي هو الطغيان ..
حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل، وإنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.
