Syrian sources reported that helicopters, likely American, conducted a landing operation at dawn on Wednesday in the Jabal al-Bishri area of the western Deir ez-Zor desert.

The sources added that the soldiers searched the al-Shujairi Mosque in the Jabal al-Bishri area before blowing it up, along with several other locations in its vicinity.
