Aleppo Governorate: One person was killed and three others sustained varying injuries when a Turkish drone targeted civilians working at the Tishrin Dam in the Manbij countryside, east of Aleppo. The wounded were transferred to a hospital for treatment.

This incident is part of an ongoing escalation in the region, where drone attacks have recently increased, exacerbating the suffering of civilians in conflict zones.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, since the escalation began on December 12, 2024, the death toll has reached 544, including:

55 civilians (7 women and 4 children).

411 members of Turkish-backed factions.

78 members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and affiliated military formations, including a commander, as a result of ground attacks and drone strikes.

These recent Turkish attacks represent an unprecedented escalation, as Ankara attempts to impose a new reality on the ground, amid growing calls to halt the escalation.

78 عنصراً من قوات “قسد” والتشكيلات العسكرية التابعة لها، بينهم قيادي، جراء الاستهدافات البرية والطيران المسيّر.
الهجمات التركية الأخيرة تمثل تصعيداً غير مسبوق، في وقت تحاول فيه أنقرة فرض واقع ميداني جديد، وسط دعوات متزايدة لإيقاف التصعيد.
