The Kurdish-led Autonomous Administration condemned Turkish shelling that targeted the al-Ruwaished desert in the countryside of al-Hasakah province in northeastern Syria, killing 12 people, including civilians. The Administration considered the attack a blatant violation of international law and a reflection of Ankara's expansionist mentality.

In a statement, the Autonomous Administration said that the Turkish airstrikes are part of Turkey's policy aimed at destabilizing the region and reviving terrorist organizations, including ISIS, which poses a serious threat not only to the security of the region but to the entire world.

The Autonomous Administration called on the international community to take immediate action, stressing that the continuation of these attacks poses a threat to global peace.

Yesterday, the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced the deaths of 12 civilians and military personnel as a result of 16 airstrikes carried out by Turkish warplanes and drones on the al-Ruwaished desert south of al-Hasakah.

دانت "الإدارة الذاتية" الكردية، قصفاً تركياً استهدف بادية الرويشد في ريف محافظة #الحسكة شمال شرقي #سوريا، وأسفر عن مقتل 12 شخصاً، بينهم مدنيون، معتبرة أنه انتهاك صارخ للقوانين الدولية "ويعكس العقلية التوسعية" التي تنتهجها أنقرة.
وقالت "الإدارة الذاتية" في بيان، إن الغارات الجوية التركية "جزء من سياسة تركيا الرامية إلى زعزعة الاستقرار في المنطقة، وإعادة إحياء التنظيمات الإرهابية"، بما في ذلك تنظيم "داعش"، الأمر الذي "يشكل تهديداً خطيراً ليس فقط لأمن المنطقة، بل للعالم بأسره".
ودعت "الإدارة الذاتية" المجتمع الدولي إلى التحرك الفوري، مؤكدة أن استمرار هذه الهجمات يشكل خطراً على السلام العالمي.
وأمس، أعلنت قوات "قسد" الكردية، مقتل 12 مدنياً وعسكرياً، من جراء 16 غارة جوية شنها الطيران الحربي والمسير التركي على بادية الرويشد جنوبي الحسكة.
