Helicopters, likely belonging to the international coalition, targeted a person in the Jabal al-Amour area of Palmyra municipality in the eastern Homs countryside, killing him instantly. His body was transferred to the Palmyra National Hospital.
Several houses in the area were also targeted by the helicopters. The targeted person, named Adel, from the al-Hazzaa clan, was herding sheep in the Satih area of Jabal al-Amour. Local sources report that Adel fired at the helicopter.
