Rif Dimashq Governorate: Violent clashes erupted at dawn today, Friday, in the town of Beit Jinn in the southwestern Rif Dimashq countryside, marking the largest military operation since the fall of the former regime. The clashes pitted local youth against Israeli forces who attempted to storm the town and carry out an arrest campaign. The fighting was accompanied by artillery and airstrikes.

The clashes and the ground and air bombardment resulted in the deaths of at least 13 people, including 7 civilians, among them women and children. The death toll is expected to rise due to the presence of 20 wounded, some in critical condition, others missing under the rubble, and some detained by the Israeli army. Six Israeli soldiers were also wounded during the operation, according to the Israeli army. The Israeli shelling also caused a house to collapse.

This morning, the Israeli army allowed Syrian ambulances and rescue teams to enter the area to retrieve the bodies of the dead and wounded after searching them. They were also searched after leaving the area and heading to Damascus.

According to reports, an Israeli patrol came under fire from a distance of 200 meters after stopping and arresting a number of young men from the town. This resulted in injuries to six Israeli reserve soldiers.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had previously reported that southwest of Damascus witnessed a significant Israeli escalation at dawn on Friday. Israeli forces, in two military patrols, entered the vicinity of Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside to carry out arrests and shelled the outskirts of the town indiscriminately, leading to clashes with local youths who attempted to resist them.

The attack resulted in the deaths of at least 10 people. There are also reports of missing persons whose fate—whether they were arrested or fled—is unknown. Several Israeli soldiers were also injured during the operation. The shelling caused a house to collapse. This occurred while warplanes were flying over the area.

محافظة ريف دمشق: اندلعت اشتباكات عنيفة، فجر اليوم الجمعة، في بلدة بيت جن بريف دمشق الجنوبي الغربي في أكبر عملية عسكرية منذ سقوط النظام البائد بين شباب المنطقة وقوات إسرائيلية حاولت اقتحام البلدة وتنفيذ حملة اعتقالات، وترافقت الاشتباكات بقصف مدفعي وجوي.
وقد أسفرت الاشتباكات والقصف البري والجوي عن مقتل 13 شخصًا على الأقل، بينهم 7 مدنيين من ضمنهم نساء وأطفال. والعدد مرشح للزيادة بسبب وجود 20 جريحًا مصابًا في حالة خطرة ومفقودين تحت الأنقاض وموقوفين لدى الجيش الإسرائيلي. كما أُصيب ستة من القوات الإسرائيلية خلال العملية باعتراف الجيش الإسرائيلي. كما تسبب القصف الإسرائيلي في انهيار منزل.
وصباح اليوم سمح الجيش الإسرائيلي لسيارات الإسعاف وفرق الإنقاذ السورية بالدخول إلى المنطقة لإخراج جثث القتلى والجرحى بعد تفتيشها. كما قام بتفتشها بعد خروجها من المنطقة إلى دمشق.
ووفقاً للمعلومات، فقد تعرضت دورية إسرائيلية لإطلاق نار من على بعد 200 متر بعد أن قامت بتوقيف واعتقال عدد من شباب البلدة. ما أدى لإصابة ستة جنود احتياط في الجيش الإسرائيلي.
وسبق أن رصد المرصد السوري لحقوق الإنسان، بأن جنوب غرب دمشق شهد فجر اليوم الجمعة تصعيدًا إسرائيليًا لافتًا، حيث توغلت القوات الإسرائيلية بدوريتين عسكريتين في محيط بلدة بيت جن بريف دمشق لتنفيذ حملة اعتقالات، وقامت بقصف أطراف البلدة دون رادع، مما أدى إلى اندلاع اشتباكات بينها وبين الشبان الذين حاولوا التصدي لها.
أسفر الاستهداف عن مقتل 10 أشخاص على الأقل، كما توجد معلومات عن مفقودين لا يُعرف ما إذا كانوا قد اعتُقلوا أو فرّوا من المكان، وأُصيب عدد من عناصر القوات الإسرائيلية خلال العملية. كما تسبب القصف في انهيار منزل، وجاء ذلك تزامنًا مع تحليق الطيران الحربي في أجواء المنطقة.
