The Engineers Syndicate mourns two engineers killed in Khardali as a result of the Israeli aggression.

The Engineers Syndicate mourns with deep sorrow and grief the martyrs Ahmad Saad and Mustafa Rizk, who were killed while performing their professional and national duty in the Khardali area, located between Nabatieh and Marjeyoun. They were en route to Khiam to conduct damage assessments and evaluate the infrastructure.

A statement from the Syndicate said: "Our two colleagues fell as martyrs in the line of duty, at a time when the Syndicate and the engineering community are celebrating 'Lebanese Engineer and Architect Day.' This day has become a day of loyalty and sacrifice, embodying the highest ideals of commitment, belonging, and dedication.

Engineering work in the field will remain a pillar of resilience, reconstruction, and rebuilding, despite all dangers and challenges. Finally, the Syndicate extends its heartfelt condolences to the families of the two martyrs and their colleagues, and affirms its commitment to defending the dignity of the profession and the lives of those who serve the nation through it."

تنعي نقابة المهندسين في ببالغ الأسى والحزن الشهيدين احمد سعد ومصطفى رزق، اللذين ارتقيا اثناء ادائهما الواجب المهني والوطني في منطقة الخردلي الواقعة بين منطقة النبطية ومرجعيون، حيث كانا يتوجهان الى منطقة الخيام للقيام بعمليات مسح للأضرار وتقييم للبنية التحتية.
وقال بيان عن النقابة: " لقد سقط الزميلان شهيدين للواجب، في الوقت الذي فيه النقابة والعائلة الهندسية تحتفل بـ"عيد المهندس والمعمار اللبناني"، فصار العيد يوما للوفاء والتضحية، تجسدت فيه اعلى معاني الالتزام والانتماء والعطاء.
ان العمل الهندسي في الميدان سيبقى رديفا للصمود وإعادة الاعمار والبناء على الرغم من كل المخاطر والتحديات.
أخيرا، تتقدم النقابة بأحر التعازي من عائلتي الشهيدين ورفاقهما، وتؤكد مضيها في الدفاع عن كرامة المهنة وارواح من يخدمون الوطن من خلالها.
