Damascus Countryside – SANA

Thirteen civilians were killed and dozens, including children, were injured today as a result of the Israeli aggression on the town of Beit Jinn in Damascus Countryside, according to initial reports.

In a statement to SANA, the Director of Health for Damascus Countryside, Dr. Tawfiq Ismail Hasaba, explained that the number of martyrs from this attack has risen to 13 in an initial count, while there are dozens of wounded. He noted that six of the martyrs were transferred to Al-Mowasat Hospital in Damascus, and six others were buried in the Beit Jinn farm due to the difficulty of reaching them in the initial hours following the Israeli attack.

Dr. Hasaba added that 24 wounded individuals were transferred to hospitals, distributed among Al-Mowasat and Al-Mujtahid in Damascus, Qatana in Damascus Countryside, and the Golan National Hospital in Quneitra. Some are in critical condition and require surgery. He pointed out that the Damascus Countryside ambulance system, in cooperation with the Syrian Civil Defense, provided first aid to those who did not require hospitalization.

Dr. Hasaba explained that the Hermon Center and Sa'sa' points were activated, and coordination was underway with the Golan National Hospital to provide the necessary medical care to those injured in the aggression as quickly as possible.

Civil Defense: Israeli Aircraft Hindered Our Teams' Entry into Beit Jinn

For his part, Shadi al-Hassan, Director of the Civil Defense Directorate in the Damascus Countryside Governorate, explained that ambulance teams immediately headed to the town of Beit Jinn to rescue the injured but were unable to enter due to Israeli airstrikes targeting anything that moved.

He indicated that the teams were able to enter the town at 10:00 AM and proceeded to the areas bombed by the Israeli forces, including streets, houses, and a mosque. They provided necessary first aid to the injured and transported them to hospitals.

He confirmed that the Civil Defense teams conducted a rapid survey to ensure there were no unexploded ordnance and requested a specialized team to conduct a full survey. They also placed warning signs in the areas targeted by the Israeli forces.

It is reported that the Israeli occupation forces launched an attack at dawn today on the town of Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside, resulting in a number of martyrs and wounded after an Israeli military force infiltrated the town and arrested three people before withdrawing.

In response, the town's residents confronted the invading Israeli forces, who opened heavy fire. This coincided with extensive Israeli air activity over the town, while a large-scale exodus of residents to neighboring towns took place.

Syria condemned the Israeli attack on the town, asserting that it constitutes a full-fledged war crime. It noted that the continuation of these criminal attacks threatens security and stability in the region and is part of a systematic policy to destabilize the situation and impose an aggressive reality by force.

Syria reiterated its demand that the Security Council, the United Nations, and the League of Arab States take immediate action to put an end to the Israeli occupation's attacks and violations, and to adopt deterrent measures that guarantee respect for its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and adherence to international law and the UN Charter.

استشهد 13 مواطناً وأصيب العشرات بينهم أطفال اليوم، جراء العدوان الإسرائيلي على بلدة بيت جن بريف دمشق، في حصيلة أولية.


وفي تصريح لـ سانا، أوضح مدير صحة ريف دمشق الدكتور توفيق إسماعيل حسابا أن عدد الشهداء جراء هذا الاعتداء ارتفع إلى 13 شهيداً في حصيلة أولية، بينما هناك عشرات المصابين، مشيراً إلى أنه تم نقل 6 شهداء منهم إلى مشفى المواساة بدمشق، و جرى دفن 6 شهداء في مزرعة بيت جن، بسبب صعوبة الوصول إليهم في الساعات الأولى من الاعتداء الإسرائيلي.

وبين الدكتور حسابا أن 24 مصاباً نقلوا إلى المشافي موزعين على المواساة والمجتهد بدمشق، وقطنا بريف دمشق، والجولان الوطني بالقنيطرة، بعضهم في حالة حرجة، ويحتاجون لإجراء عمليات جراحية، لافتاً إلى أن منظومة إسعاف ريف دمشق بالتعاون مع الدفاع المدني السوري قدمت الإسعافات الأولية للحالات التي لا تستدعي النقل إلى المشافي.


وأوضح الدكتور حسابا أنه تم تفعيل نقطة مركز الحرمون ونقطة سعسع، والتنسيق مع مشفى الجولان الوطني لتأمين الرعاية الطبية اللازمة للمصابين جراء العدوان بالسرعة القصوى.

الدفاع المدني: طيران الاحتلال عرقل دخول فرقنا لبيت جن
من جانبه، أوضح مدير مديرية الدفاع المدني في محافظة ريف دمشق شادي الحسن أن فرق الإسعاف توجهت فوراً إلى بلدة بيت جن، لإنقاذ المصابين ولم تستطع الدخول إليها بسبب طيران الاحتلال الإسرائيلي الذي يستهدف كل شيء يتحرك.


وبين أن الفرق تمكنت من الدخول إلى البلدة في العاشرة صباحاً، وتوجهت إلى الأماكن التي قصفها الاحتلال من شوارع ومنازل وأحد المساجد، وعملت على تقديم الإسعافات اللازمة للمصابين، ونقلتهم إلى المشافي.

وأكد أن فرق الدفاع المدني قامت بمسح سريع للتأكد من عدم وجود ذخائر غير متفجرة، وطلبت فريقاً متخصصاً من أجل إجراء مسح كامل، ووضعت إشارات تحذيرية في الأماكن التي استهدفها الاحتلال.

يذكر أن الاحتلال الإسرائيلي نفذ فجر اليوم عدواناً على بلدة بيت جن بريف دمشق، أدى إلى وقوع عدد من الشهداء والجرحى بعد توغل قوة عسكرية تابعة له داخل البلدة، واعتقال ثلاثة أشخاص قبل انسحابها.

وفي المقابل، تصدى أهالي البلدة لقوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي المتوغلة التي قامت بإطلاق نار كثيف، وتزامن ذلك مع تحليق طيران الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بشكل واسع فوق البلدة، بينما شهدت البلدة حركة نزوح واسعة للأهالي نحو البلدات المجاورة.

وأدانت سوريا اعتداء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على البلدة مؤكدة أنه يشكل جريمة حرب مكتملة الأركان، مشيرة إلى أن استمرار هذه الاعتداءات الإجرامية يهدد الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة، ويأتي في سياق سياسة منهجية لزعزعة الأوضاع وفرض واقع عدواني بالقوة.

وجددت سوريا مطالبتها مجلس الأمن والأمم المتحدة وجامعة الدول العربية بالتحرك العاجل لوضع حد لاعتداءات وانتهاكات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، واتخاذ إجراءات رادعة تضمن احترام سيادتها ووحدة أراضيها والالتزام بالقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة.
