Deir ez-Zor Governorate: Early this morning, special forces from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), with direct support from the International Coalition, conducted two simultaneous airdrop operations in the villages of Takihi and al-Atal in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside.

According to field sources, joint security forces deployed heavily within the two villages, coinciding with intensive helicopter activity in the area. The forces closed all entrances and exits, using loudspeakers to urge residents to remain in their homes.

The operation continued for several hours amidst an unprecedented security mobilization. No confirmed reports of arrests have been received so far.

This comes a day after SDF Special Operations Teams (TOLs), with direct support from the International Coalition, conducted a security operation in the city of Tabqa, west of Raqqa, which resulted in the arrest of a prominent member of ISIS cells. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the operation was carried out after close monitoring of the movements of the wanted leader. The targeted location, located in a residential neighborhood in the city, was raided without any clashes or civilian casualties.

This operation is part of the ongoing efforts by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the International Coalition to pursue ISIS cells in northern and eastern Syria.

محافظة دير الزور: نفّذت قوات خاصة تابعة لقوات سوريا الديمقراطية “قسد” بمساندة مباشرة من قوات “التحالف الدولي”، فجر اليوم، عمليتي إنزال جوي متزامنتين في قريتي طكيحي والعتال بريف دير الزور الشرقي.
ووفقاً لمصادر ميدانية، انتشرت قوات أمنية مشتركة بكثافة داخل القريتين بالتزامن مع تحليق مكثّف للطيران المروحي في سماء المنطقة، فيما أغلقت القوات جميع المداخل والمخارج، موجهة نداءات عبر مكبّرات الصوت تطلب من الأهالي البقاء داخل منازلهم.
واستمرت العملية لساعات عدة وسط استنفار أمني غير مسبوق، دون ورود معلومات مؤكدة عن توقيف أي أشخاص حتى اللحظة.
وجاء ذلك بعد يوم من تنفيذ فرق العمليات العسكرية الخاصة TOL التابعة لقوات سوريا الديمقراطية، وبدعم مباشر من قوات التحالف الدولي، عملية أمنية في مدينة الطبقة غربي الرقة، أسفرت عن إلقاء القبض على عنصر بارز في خلايا تنظيم “الدولة الإسلامية”.
ووفقًا لمصادر المرصد السوري، فقد جرت العملية بعد رصد ومتابعة دقيقة لتحركات المتزعم المطلوب، حيث تمت مداهمة الموقع المستهدف ضمن حي سكني في المدينة، دون تسجيل أي اشتباكات أو خسائر بشرية في صفوف المدنيين.
وتأتي هذه العملية ضمن الجهود المستمرة التي تبذلها “قسد” والتحالف الدولي لملاحقة خلايا التنظيم في مناطق شمال وشرق سوريا.
