The Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health issued a statement Tuesday evening reporting that the Israeli airstrike on Joun in the Chouf district resulted in an updated toll of twelve martyrs and eight wounded.

Earlier, Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes targeting several areas in southern Lebanon, causing widespread destruction and civilian casualties.

In the Joun area, an airstrike targeted a three-story building belonging to the Ghosn family, which was sheltering displaced families, resulting in a massacre.

The city of Tyre was also subjected to an air attack targeting a building near the Bitar Center on Carthage Street, resulting in martyrs and wounded. The airstrikes also hit the towns of Markaba and Shaqra, as well as the city of Bint Jbeil and the town of Barashit, causing thick smoke to rise.

وفي منطقة جون، استهدفت غارة مبنى من ثلاثة طوابق يعود لآل غصن، الذي كان يأوي عائلات نازحة، مما أسفر عن وقوع مجزرة.

وتعرضت مدينة صور لاعتداء جوي استهدف مبنى قرب "سنتر بيطار" في شارع قرطاج، ما أسفر عن وقوع شهداء وجرحى. كذلك، طالت الغارات بلدات مركبا وشقرا، إضافة إلى مدينة بنت جبيل وبلدة برعشيت، مما أدى إلى تصاعد الدخان الكثيف.
