Asayish Forces and the International Coalition Raid Al-Shamsani Village

This morning, the Asayish Internal Security Forces, in coordination with units from the International Coalition, conducted a security operation in the village of Al-Shamsani, located in the Al-Shaddadi district of southern Hasakah Governorate.

Local sources reported that the operation was part of the pursuit of ISIS cells.

The raid resulted in the arrest of three individuals on charges of belonging to the organization. They were taken to a security center for interrogation.

قوات "الأسايش" و"التحالف الدولي" تداهم قرية
الشمساني
​قامت قوى الأمن الداخلي "الأسايش" بالتنسيق مع وحدات تابعة لـ "التحالف الدولي" صباح اليوم بتنفيذ عملية أمنية في قرية الشمساني، التابعة لناحية الشدادي بريف الحسكة الجنوبي.
​وأفادت مصادر محلية بأن العملية جاءت في إطار ملاحقة خلايا تنظيم "الدولة الإسلامية" (داعش).
​وأسفرت المداهمة عن اعتقال ثلاثة أشخاص بتهمة الانتماء للتنظيم، حيث تم اقتيادهم إلى أحد المراكز الأمنية للتحقيق.
