Security Campaign Against ISIS in Hasakah

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested a number of individuals accused of belonging to ISIS cells.

Special units of the SDF launched a large-scale security campaign in the neighborhoods of Hasakah city on Saturday evening, which continued until the early morning hours. The operation targeted ISIS cells.

The operation was supported by ground and air forces from the International Coalition. Prior to the operation, all entrances and exits to the city were completely closed to ensure a tight security cordon and prevent the escape of any suspects.

The campaign resulted in the arrest of a number of individuals accused of belonging to ISIS cells, who were then transferred to a security facility.

وجاءت العمـ ـلية بدعم بـ ـري وجـ ـوي من قـ ــ وات “التحالف الدولي”. سبقـها إغلاق جميع مداخل ومخارج المدينة بالكامل، لضمان إحكام الطوق الأمـ ـني ومـ ـنع فـ ـرار أي من المشتبه بهم.
وأسـ ـفرت الحـ ـملة عن اعتـ ـقال عدد من المتهمين بالانتـ ـماء إلى خـ ـلايا تنظـ ـيم د.ا.عـ ـش حيث جرى نقلهم إلى جهة أمنـ ـية.
