Huda Zbib | 16 Martyrs in the Al-Muaysara Massacre, 7 of Them Displaced

An Israeli airstrike targeted a house in the town of Al-Muaysara in the Jbeil district on Wednesday, September 25, killing 16 people. Seven of the victims were from the Al-Hussein, Qassem, and Qutaish families from the southern town of Houla. They had fled Houla to Al-Muaysara seeking safety and hope for survival, unaware that they were heading to their deaths. They departed, leaving behind their stories, which will not be forgotten, just as the stories of the martyrs who came before them will not be forgotten.

استهدفت غارة إسرائيلية، أمس الأربعاء في 25 أيلول، منزلًا في بلدة المعيصرة في قضاء جبيل، أدّت إلى استشهاد 16 شخصًا، 7 منهم من عائلات من آل حسين وقاسم وقطيش من بلدة حولا الجنوبية كانوا قد نزحوا من حولا إلى المعيصرة بحثًا عن الأمان والأمل بالنجاة لكنهم لم يعلموا أنهم ذاهبون إلى حتفهم. رحلوا تاركين قصصهم التي لن تغيب، كما لم تغب قصص الشهداء ممن سبقوهم.
