Evening Bulletin

Missionaries of the General Directorate of Civil Defense at the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, in response to the Israeli aggression against Lebanon, carried out from Tuesday morning, October 22, 2024, until now:

Beirut Governorate:

- Following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential neighborhood in Jnah, near the entrance to Beirut Governmental Hospital, at approximately 10:45 PM on Monday, resulting in the destruction of 5 residential buildings and causing severe damage to 12 others, specialized search and rescue teams from the General Directorate of Civil Defense are continuing their search for missing persons under the rubble (including a Syrian family of 4).

In the operations carried out by Civil Defense personnel so far, the bodies of 15 martyrs have been recovered (including one Sudanese national, one Syrian national, and a five-year-old child), and 12 injured individuals have been pulled from the rubble. After hours of continuous work, Civil Defense personnel were able to rescue a girl and a nine-year-old girl who were trapped under the rubble.

Simultaneously, the personnel extinguished two fires that had broken out at the site as a result of the airstrike. Search and rescue operations and a comprehensive field survey will continue at the site of the airstrike until all missing persons are found.

Southern Suburbs of Beirut:

Search and Rescue:

- Following an Israeli airstrike targeting the Haret Hreik area, specialized search and rescue teams from the General Directorate of Civil Defense were dispatched to locate missing persons.

Firefighting:

- Following an Israeli airstrike targeting a building in the Safir area, behind the Al-Umara bakeries, Civil Defense personnel worked to extinguish the fire at the targeted site.

- A fire was extinguished in Hadath, behind the Constitutional Council.

- A fire was extinguished in a refrigerator and washing machine store in Koukoudi.

- A fire on the seventh and eighth floors of a residential building in Tayouneh, caused by an Israeli airstrike, was extinguished.

Public Services:
- The road leading down to the Faculty of Sciences was reopened after being blocked by rubble from the bombing, allowing Civil Defense ambulances and fire trucks to pass.

- The Tayouneh road was reopened after being blocked by rubble from the bombing, allowing Civil Defense fire trucks to pass to extinguish the fires. - The first section of the Hadi Nasrallah highway near the General Security headquarters was reopened after being blocked by rubble from the bombing.

Nabatieh Governorate:

- Following an Israeli airstrike targeting the Kassar Zaatar neighborhood in Nabatieh, Civil Defense personnel were able to extinguish the fires that broke out at the targeted site. Simultaneously, specialized search and rescue teams from the General Directorate of Civil Defense recovered the bodies of two martyrs from under the rubble. During the search and rescue operations, the site was targeted by a second airstrike, resulting in injuries to five members of the Nabatieh Regional Center (three employees and one volunteer contractor). They sustained various injuries and were subsequently hospitalized for treatment.

- Following an Israeli airstrike targeting a building in the Labaneh neighborhood of Arab Salim, specialized search and rescue teams from the General Directorate of Civil Defense recovered the bodies of two martyrs and rescued an injured person from under the rubble, transporting them to hospitals. The teams also evacuated a family to a safe neighborhood away from the targeted site. - Following an Israeli airstrike targeting the Nabatieh commercial market, Civil Defense personnel extinguished fires in dozens of shops, two banks, and a gas station.

- Two wounded individuals were evacuated from Kfarjouz; one was transported to Nabatieh Governmental Hospital and the other to the Al-Najda Al-Shaabiya Hospital.

- One wounded individual was evacuated from Kfar Remman and transported to the Al-Najda Al-Shaabiya Hospital.

- A fire in 12 shops and a bank was extinguished, and two wounded individuals were evacuated following an airstrike on the city of Nabatieh.

- Six wounded individuals were evacuated after an airstrike targeted paramedics while they were clearing rubble in Kassar Zaatar.

- A fire between Rashaya and Al-Mari, caused by shelling, was extinguished.
- One wounded individual was evacuated from Al-Duweir and transported to Ragheb Harb Hospital.

- Following an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Arab Salim, specialized search and rescue teams from the General Directorate of Civil Defense continued their comprehensive field surveys to search for missing persons at the targeted site. South Governorate:

Following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house in the town of Tuffahta, specialized search and rescue teams from the General Directorate of Civil Defense are continuing their search for missing persons under the rubble. They have so far recovered the bodies of 12 martyrs and 3 wounded.

- Following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a two-story house in Mahrouna, specialized search and rescue teams from the General Directorate of Civil Defense recovered the bodies of two martyrs from under the rubble.

- Following an Israeli airstrike that targeted the area between Mahrouna and Jouaya, Civil Defense personnel worked to extinguish a fire in grass and fruit trees at the targeted site.

- Inspection of the sites of the Israeli airstrikes that targeted the Majadel area.

- Inspection of the sites of the Israeli airstrikes that targeted the Dabaal area.

- Following an Israeli airstrike that targeted the Babliyeh area, Civil Defense personnel worked to extinguish a fire in grass and trees at the targeted site.

- Inspection of the sites of the Israeli airstrikes on the Hawsh-Sour area. Bekaa Governorate:

West Bekaa District:

- Following an Israeli airstrike targeting the Mashghara plain, Civil Defense personnel worked to extinguish a house and brush fire at the targeted site.

Baalbek-Hermel Governorate:

- Nine houses in the town of Al-Asira

Hermel District:

- Following an Israeli airstrike targeting a building in the city of Hermel-Al-Maali, specialized search and rescue teams from the General Directorate of Civil Defense recovered the bodies of five martyrs (including one Syrian national) and pulled seven wounded people from under the rubble.

Public Services: Providing water to shelters for displaced persons in several areas.

مهمات المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني في وزارة الداخلية والبلديات، جراء العدوان الإسرائيلي على لبنان، المنفذة منذ صباح اليوم الثلاثاء الواقع في ٢٢-١٠-٢٠٢٤ وحتى الساعة:
محافظة بيروت:
- على اثر غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت أحد الأحياء السكنية في الجناح بالقرب من مدخل مستشفى بيروت الحكومي، قرابة الساعة ١٠:٤٥ من مساء أمس الإثنين، وادت الى تدمير ٥ مباني سكنية والحقت أضراراً جسيمة في ١٢ مبنى، تواصل فرق البحث والإنقاذ المتخصصة لدى المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني عمليات البحث عن مفقودين تحت الانقاض (بينهم عائلة سورية مؤلفة من ٤ أفراد).
وفي حصيلة العمليات التي نفّذها عناصر الدفاع المدني حتى الآن تم انتشال جثامين ١٥ شهيداً (بينهم شهيد سوداني الجنسية، وشهيد سوري الجنسية، وطفل في الخامسة من العمر) وسحب ١٢ جريحا. وبعد ساعات من العمل المتواصل تمكن عناصر الدفاع المدني من إنقاذ فتاة وطفلة في التاسعة من العمر كانتا محتجزتين تحت الانقاض.
توازيا أخمد العناصر حريقين كانا قد اندلعا في الموقع جراء الغارة.
وستستمر عمليات البحث والإنقاذ والمسح الميداني الشامل في موقع الغارة الى ان يتم العثور على جميع المفقودين.
ضاحية بيروت الجنوبية :
بحث وإنقاذ :
- على اثر غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت منطقة حارة حريك توجهت فرق البحث والإنقاذ المتخصصة لدى المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني للعثور على مفقودين.
إطفاء :
- على اثر غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت مبنى في منطقة الصفير، خلف أفران الامراء، عمل عناصر الدفاع المدني على إخماد النيران في الموقع المستهدف.
- إخماد حريق في الحدث خلف المجلس الدستوري.
- إخماد حريق متجر لبيع البرادات والغسالات على الكوكودي.
- إخماد حريق الطابقين السابع والثامن من مبنى سكني في الطيونة جراء غارة إسرائيلية.
خدمات عامة :
- إعادة فتح طريق نزلة كلية العلوم بعد أن قطع بسبب الركام جراء القصف لتمكين آليات الإسعاف والإطفاء التابعة للدفاع المدني من العبور.
- إعادة فتح طريق الطيونة بعد أن قطع بسبب الركام جراء القصف لتمكين آليات الإطفاء التابعة للدفاع المدني من العبور لإخماد النيران.
- إعادة فتح طريق اول اوتوستراد هادي نصرالله قرب مقر الأمن العام بعد أن قطع بسبب الركام جراء القصف.
محافظة النبطية :
- على اثر غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت محلة كسار زعتر في النبطية، تمكن عناصر الدفاع المدني من إخماد النيران التي اندلعت في الموقع المستهدف. توازيا تمكنت فرق البحث والإنقاذ المتخصصة لدى المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني من انتشال جثماني شهيدين من تحت الانقاض. وأثناء تنفيذ عمليات البحث والإنقاذ تعرض الموقع لغارة ثانية ما أدى إلى إصابة خمسة عناصر من عديد مركز النبطية الاقليمي (٣ موظفين ومتعاقد متطوع) لإصابات متفرقة ادخلوا على اثرها إلى المستشفى لتلقي العلاج اللازم.
- على اثر غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت مبنى في حي اللبانة في بلدة عربصاليم، تمكنت فرق البحث والإنقاذ المتخصصة لدى المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني من انتشال جثماني شهيدين وإنقاذ جريحة من تحت الانقاض ونقلهم الى المستشفيات. كما أخلى العناصر أفراد عائلة الى حي آمن بعيدا عن الموقع المستهدف.
- على اثر غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت سوق النبطية التجاري أخمد عناصر الدفاع المدني عشرات المحلات التجارية ومصرفين ومحطة لتوزيع المحروقات.
- - سحب جريحين من كفرجوز ونقل أحدهما الى مستشفى النبطية الحكومي والآخر الى مستشفى النجدة الشعبية.
- سحب جريح من كفررمان الى مستشفى النجدة الشعبية.
- إخماد حريق محلات تجارية (عدد ١٢) ومصرف وسحب اصابتين اثر غارة على مدينة النبطية.
- سحب ٦ جرحى جراء غارة طالت المسعفين اثناء رفع الانقاض في كسار زعتر.
- إخماد حريق بين راشيا والماري جراء سقوط قذائف
- سحب جريح من الدوير ونقله الى مستشفى راغب حرب.
- على اثر غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت بلدة عربصاليم تواصل فرق البحث والإنقاذ المتخصصة لدى المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني على تنفيذ عمليات المسح الميداني الشامل بحثا عن مفقودين في الموقع المستهدف.
محافظة الجنوب:
على أثر غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت منزلاً في بلدة تفاحتا تواصل فرق البحث والانقاذ المتخصصة لدى المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني عمليات البحث عن مفقودين تحت الأنقاض وقد تمكنت من انتشال جثامين ١٢ شهيداً و ٣ جرحى حتى الأن.
- على اثر غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت منزلاً من طابقين في محرونا، تمكنت فرق البحث والانقاذ المتخصصة لدى المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني من انتشال جثماني شهيدين من تحت الأنقاض.
- على أثر غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت المنطقة الواقعة بين محرونا وجويا عمل عناصر الدفاع المدني على إخماد حريق اعشاب و اشجار مثمرة في الموقع المستهدف.
- الكشف على مواقع الغارات الإسرائيلية التي استهدفت منطقة المجادل.
- الكشف على مواقع الغارات الإسرائيلية التي استهدفت منطقة دبعال.
- على أثر غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت منطقة البابلية عمل عناصر الدفاع المدني على إخماد حريق اعشاب واشجار في الموقع المستهدف.

- على أثر غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت مبنى في مدينة الهرمل-المعالي، تمكنت فرق البحث والانقاذ المتخصصة لدى المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني من انتشال جثامين ٥ شهداء (بينهم شهيد من الجنسية السورية) وسحب ٧ جرحى من تحت الأنقاض.
خدمات عامة : تأمين المياه الى مراكز إيواء النازحين في العديد من المناطق.
