A statement of condolence issued by the Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades:

The Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees in Palestine, mourn the martyr, Commander Muhammad Mahmoud al-Batran (Abu Yusuf), commander of the artillery unit and member of the military council in the Central Brigade. He was martyred at dawn today, Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in a cowardly and treacherous assassination carried out by the Zionist Nazi enemy, who targeted his family home in al-Bureij camp.
