An Al Jazeera Mubasher correspondent reported the arrival of more dead and wounded at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah. Journalists also reported on medical staff treating the wounded on the ground at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital amidst heavy shelling by Israeli forces on the area. The influx of wounded to the hospital was documented, highlighting the strain on all hospitals in the Gaza Strip and the shortage of medical supplies. Since October 7th, the Israeli army has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, resulting in the deaths of more than 16,000 people and injuries to more than 42,000. The war has also caused massive destruction to infrastructure and an "unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe," according to Palestinian and UN sources.
