הלילה התמקד צה"ל בתקיפות בדרום הרצועה. החל מהשעה 22:00, במשך 20 דקות, הותקפו יעדים באמצעות 52 מטוסים שהטילו 120 פצצות ונטרלו עוד 12 ק"מ של "המטרו" של חמאס.
