أما وقد تأكد نباء استشهاد خالي العزيز : فكري عبد المجيد حنون وزوجتة بعد انتشالهم من تحت الأنقاض، فإنني أعزي ابنائه الصابرين عبد المجيد وعوني وطاهر واحمد.
كما أعزي والدتي الصابرة المحتسبة وارغب في قول مايلي:
لم يكن ذنب خالي سوى أنه شخص عادي بقلب طيب وبعقل حكيم، لم تمنحه الدنيا من التعليم الكثير، لكن ماتعلمه منها اكثر بالكثير، شخص بسيط متواضع ومواضب على صلاتة، حسن الخلق والمنظر ، لطيف، فكاهي وذو عقل راجح احسن تربية ابنائة، فكانت الشهادة تليق به وبحسن خاتمته.
كما أن الشهداء لم ولن يكونوا في يوما من الايام مجرد أرقاما في إحصائية، هم قصص تروى عن أشخاص كانوا بيننا واثروا فينا.
رحم الله خالي وربط على قلب ابناءة، واجرهم في مصيبتهم، وتقبله في عليين مع الانبياء والصديقيين وحسن هؤلاء رفيق واني احتسبه على الله شهيدا مرابطا ولا ازكي على الله احد.
