Gaza, October 21, 2023 (WAFA) – Eleven Palestinians were killed and dozens injured last night when Israeli warplanes bombed a café in the center of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Our correspondent reported that 11 Palestinians were killed and others injured when Israeli warplanes bombed the Rio Café on Jalal Street in central Khan Younis. The café had become a refuge for displaced people after their homes were destroyed. Rescue teams and civilians were still working to recover victims from the site.

Israeli warplanes also bombed two mosques in Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, but no injuries were reported.

Earlier on Saturday, five Palestinians were killed when a house in the Zeitoun neighborhood east of Gaza City was bombed. Five more bodies were recovered from under the rubble of another house in the same neighborhood belonging to the Yassin family.

Eight Palestinians were also killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a restaurant in the Nuseirat refugee camp market in central Gaza. The restaurant belonged to the Aql family.

In the same context, 11 citizens were killed and others wounded in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house belonging to the Abu Shamala family in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah.

غزة 21-10-2023 وفا- استشهد 11 مواطنا، وأصيب العشرات، الليلة، جراء قصف طيران الاحتلال الإسرائيلي الحربي، على مقهى وسط مدينة خان يونس جنوب قطاع غزة.

وأفاد مراسلنا باستشهاد 11 مواطنا وإصابة آخرين جراء قصف طيران الاحتلال لمقهى "ريو" في شارع جلال وسط خان يونس، والذي لجأ إليه عدد من النازحين بعد أن دمرت منازلهم، مشيرا إلى أن طواقم الإنقاذ والمواطنين ما زالت تعمل على انتشال الضحايا من المكان.

كما قصفت طائرات الاحتلال مسجدين في مخيم جباليا شمال قطاع غزة، دون أن يبلغ عن وقوع إصابات.

وفي وقت سابق، السبت، استشهد 5 مواطنين في قصف منزل في حي الزيتون شرق غزة، فيما انتشلت 5 جثامين من تحت أنقاض منزل آخر في الحي ذاته يعود لعائلة ياسين.

كما استشهد 8 مواطنين في قصف لطائرات الاحتلال استهدف مطعما في سوق مخيم النصيرات وسط غزة، يعود لعائلة عقل.

وفي السياق ذاته،  استشهد 11 مواطنا، وأصيب آخرون، في قصف إسرائيلي، استهدف منزلا يعود لعائلة أبو شمالة بحي تل السلطان، غرب رفح.
