Local sources told Al-Furat that the campaign resulted in the killing of Ghanem al-Sabouh and his son Ma'moun, in addition to the arrest of more than 10 others. The detainees were taken, along with the bodies of the two victims, to the al-Omar oil field base.

The sources reported that the SDF used explosive devices during the raid to break down doors, causing panic and fear among the women and children in the neighborhood.

Residents of the towns and cities controlled by the SDF in the Syrian Jazeera region are suffering from the crimes and arbitrary measures perpetrated against them by the militia, amid widespread popular demands for the SDF to withdraw from the region and hand it over to the Syrian state.

وأفادت المصادر أن “قسد” استخدمت خلال المداهمة عبوات ناسـ.ـفة لخـ.ـلع أبواب المنازل ما تسبب بحالة من الهـ.ـلع والخـ.ـوف في صفوف النساء والأطـ.ـفال داخل الحي.
ويعاني الأهالي القاطنين في البلدات والمدن التي تسيطر عليها قسد في منطقة الجزيرة السورية من الجرائم و الإجراءات التعسفية التي تمارسها الميليشيا بحقهم، وسط مطالب شعبية واسعة بخروج قسد من المنطقة وتسليمها للدولة السورية.
