The areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Deir ez-Zor countryside witnessed a bloody day, with six people killed in separate incidents, in addition to raids and arrests targeting more than ten civilians in the past 24 hours.

Sources told Euphrates Post that SDF forces, supported by drones, launched a large-scale raid early Sunday morning in the Latwa neighborhood of Dhiban, east of Deir ez-Zor.

The sources added that the raid targeted a number of civilian homes and resulted in the deaths of Ghanem al-Sabouh al-Sarih (in his fifties) and his young son, Mamoun al-Sarih, as well as Daar Jabr al-Atiya.

شهدت مناطق سيطرة “قوات سوريا الديمقراطية” (قسد) بريف دير الزور يوماً دامياً، حيث سُجل مقتل ستة أشخاص في حوادث متفرقة، بالإضافة إلى شن حملات دهم واعتقالات طالت أكثر من عشرة مدنيين خلال الـ 24 ساعة الماضية.

ذكرت مصادر لفرات بوست أن قوات “قسد” بمساندة طائرات مُسيّرة، شنت فجر اليوم الأحد، حملة مداهمات واسعة في حي اللطوة ببلدة ذيبان شرق دير الزور.

وأضافت المصادر أن الحملة استهدفت عدداً من منازل المدنيين وأسفرت عن مقتل المدعو غنام الصبوح السريح (في العقد الخامس من عمره) ونجله الشاب مأمون السريح، بالإضافة إلى مقتل دعار جبر العطية.
