Iraqi-American Airdrop in Syria in Coordination with the Syrian Government

To Pursue ISIS Cells
An Iraqi security source told Al-Arabiya Al-Hadath that the joint airdrop operation by Iraqi and American forces in Syria was carried out in coordination with Damascus.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had previously reported that the international coalition forces, in coordination with the Internal Security Forces (Asayish), conducted an airdrop operation targeting the villages of Iskenderun and Rabia, located near the Syrian-Iraqi border south of Tal Hamis in the Hasakah countryside.

According to the information, units from the Iraqi forces participated in the operation, as part of the pursuit of active ISIS cells in the area and to strengthen security along the shared border.

إنزال جوي عراقي – أميركي في سوريا بالتنسيق مع حكومة الشرع

أفاد مصدر أمني عراقي، لقناة “العربية الحدث”، أن عملية الإنزال الجوي المشترك للقوات العراقية والأميركية في سوريا تمت بالتنسيق مع دمشق.
وكان المرصد السوري، قد كشف عن تنفيذ قوات التحالف الدولي، بالتنسيق مع قوى الأمن الداخلي “الاسايش”، عملية إنزال جوي استهدفت قريتي سكندرون وربيعة الواقعتين قرب الشريط الحدودي السوري العراقي جنوب تل حميس بريف الحسكة.
ووفقًا للمعلومات، شاركت وحدات من القوات العراقية في العملية، وذلك في إطار ملاحقة الخلايا النشطة التابعة للتنظيم في المنطقة، وتعزيز أمن الحدود المشتركة.
