Syrian security forces announce the arrest of an ISIS leader in Damascus.

In cooperation with the international coalition, a security operation targeted ISIS hideouts in Muadamiyat al-Sham, in the Damascus countryside.

The operation resulted in the arrest of ISIS leader Taha al-Zoubi, also known as Abu Omar Tabia, and several of his aides.

An explosive belt and weapons were seized during the operation.
