Erbil (Kurdistan24) – The Counter-Terrorism Forces of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), with support from the International Coalition, conducted a large-scale security operation against ISIS cells and arms dealers in the villages of Wadha and al-Hait in the western countryside of Maskana, Aleppo Governorate. The operation took place near Jarrah Military Airport.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a number of ISIS members and arms dealers were arrested in the area. The operation coincided with International Coalition warplanes flying over the region.

Previously, the International Coalition conducted an airdrop operation in the village of Jadida Kahit in the eastern countryside of Raqqa, accompanied by special units from the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and with the participation of its General Security Directorate.

According to sources, the operation targeted wanted individuals suspected of belonging to ISIS. Clashes broke out between the raiding forces and the wanted individuals during the operation, involving gunfire and exchanges of fire.

The clashes also resulted in the death of a man and his mother, amid reports that his brother was also killed. Information indicates that the two brothers were working within the organization's cells, while no confirmed information was received about injuries among the participating forces.

أربيل (كوردستان24)- نفذت قوات مكافحة الإرهاب التابعة لقوات سوريا الديمقراطية "قسد" وبدعمٍ من قوات "التحالف الدولي" عمليةً أمنية موسعة ضد خلايا تنظيم “الدولة الإسلامية” وتجار السلاح في قريتي “وضحة” و”الحائط” بريف مسكنة الغربي في محافظة حلب. وذلك بموقع قريب من مطار جراح العسكري.
ووفق المرصد السوري، تم اعتقال عدد من عناصر تنظيم "الدولة الإسلامية"، وتجار الأسلحة في المنطقة. كما تزامنت العملية بتحليق الطيران الحربي التابع “للتحالف الدولي” في أجواء المنطقة.

وسبق أن نفذت قوات “التحالف الدولي” عملية إنزال جوي في قرية جديدة كحيط بريف الرقة الشرقي برفقة وحدات خاصة من قوى الأمن الداخلي “الأسايش” وبمشاركة جهاز الأمن العام التابع لها.

وبحسب المصادر، استهدفت العملية مطلوبين يُشتبه بانتمائهم إلى تنظيم “الدولة الإسلامية”، حيث اندلعت اشتباكات بين القوات المداهمة والمطلوبين أثناء تنفيذ الإنزال، تخللها إطلاق نار واشتباكات.

كذلك أسفرت الاشتباكات عن مقتل شخص ووالدته، وسط معلومات عن مقتل شقيقه أيضًا، حيث تشير المعلومات إلى أن الشقيقين كانا يعملان ضمن خلايا التنظيم، فيما لم ترد معلومات مؤكدة عن وجود إصابات في صفوف القوات المشاركة.
